Boulevard Diner — Restaurant in Scranton

I was looking for a good meal and saw this diner was having Greek Food specials. I called for take-out. I've never eaten here before so I had questions. The person I talked to was very nice and helpful! I ordered the Chicken Originatto (hope I spelled it ok) with lemon potatoes. It came with a Greek side salad and desert. The people were super nice when I got there and had everything ready. The half a chicken was delicious, so we're the potatoes. There was enough for two meals for me! The salad was awesome and actually bigger than I expected. It was loaded with feta too! I usually can't eat Calamatta olives cuz they're too salty...these were perfect: no pits, red, delicious. I hope I don't get anyone in trouble but I also got a surprise on top of my salad, a small dolmade! OMG it was so good! Best I've ever tasted, spices were so good!. This diner is a simple, welcoming little gem. We're not in Scranton in the morning often, but last year, we ate here after getting some fasting bloodwork done just to grab a quick breakfast. We liked it enough to return this year after the same appointment.

The food was good, and the kitchen went out of their way to handle my food allergy without incident. Our server was friendly, professional, and attentive - in other words, excellent.

Our bill for two breakfasts, more food than we could finish even starting out hungry, was $22 before tip. And, the restaurant was clean and welcoming, with cheerful flowers blooming in the windowboxes outside even as autumn begins to creep over the mountain.

Good food, good service, good prices, a clean facility, and a welcoming space - what more do you want...

It was my first time eating Greek food and I did not know what to expect Then we went in got the food we wanted and started eating outside We started eating and my God the food was fantastic, the sauce was so good. The fries and the steak and lamb were perfect If we ever travel here again with no doubt we will have lunch in Boulevard Diner And don’t even have me started on the dessert Baklava is so good, walnuts and honey in a dough that is so good The attendance was great, she helped us telling us what the food was and it did not take long for the food to be ready.
