Azzurra Pizza — Restaurant in Sea Isle City

First time at Azzurra and I was pleased. Very friendly staff, very clean place, I think its a family run business which I love to support! Greek salad was so fresh and delicious, it was a large portion so I will have plenty left over for lunch tomorrow. Garlic knots are so tasty! Pepperoni rolls are delicious as well and marinara sauce taste like homemade. The pizza was great, i like my crust a little crunchy and it was, it was not greasy at all even though we got pepperoni and sausage, it was really just perfect, we enjoyed dinner. Been coming to Sea Isle for years, but never tried this place till recently. Don’t know why it took me so long. Food was absolutely delicious, prices fair, and staff very friendly. I got the 2 slices and soda lunch special. The slices themselves are huge. You definitely get your money’s worth. Their sausage pizza is one of the best I’ve had. They use actual slices of sweet Italian sausage, rather than those generic-tasting crumbled bits. The “Famous” white pizza wasn’t my personal favorite, but others in my party really enjoyed it, so I’d suggest giving it a try. I was very disappointed in Azzurras this season due to the lack of effort from staff. I ordered from here multiple times this week on our family vacation and was disappointed. The first time we order we got the meat lovers pizza and it was covered in fat from the bacon. The second time I ordered a pasta dish that comes with a salad and garlic bread. I did not receiver either of the sides. The next time we ordered I got a different pasta dish and the noodles were not cooked all the way and the shrimp was over cooked and again I did not receive my salad or garlic bread after reminding them over the phone when I placed the order.
