Sea Isle Bait & Tackle — Local services in Sea Isle City

We are new to the Ocean View/Sea Isle City/Strathmere/Ocean City area and new to surf fishing. I investigated a few tackle and bait shops to purchase all the gear and get good advice. We settled on Sea Isle Bait and Tackle. My son and I stumbled into the shop late on a Saturday afternoon (not a time when the owner would typically be in). A young man was working alone and I wasn't sure how it would go. I explained that we knew nothing and needed to start from the ground up . Cameron was professional and knowledgeable about the sport. He asked the right questions and wasn't afraid to make suggestions. We were there for about an hour . We left with rods, tackle, bait and some cool accessories and a new friend in Cameron. He even helped get the stuff to our car and made sure we didn't need anymore help. My son and I went surf fishing the next morning. We were well prepared with equipment and enough knowledge to get started. The day ended 14 hours later, fish caught and the best Father's day ever. Thank you to Cameron and the owner for good info and gear to make our day a success. I look forward to seeing them before each fishing...

I've been coming here since 2013 and I cannot say enough about these guys. Morning noon or night they are there to help and it's awesome even in the shoulder seasons and off season they have bait available outside on the honor System. I have purchased everything from boat batteries to fishing reels to bait to supplies to drinks to ice to clothing to boat boots and I can tell you that they are straight up awesome people and deserve...

Cannot recommend Sea Isle Bait n Tackle enough. Mike and his staff are incredibly helpful!! Went as far as helping me make sure my knots were good on my rods which as a novice is extremely helpful. That was at 6am!!! The store is incredible, very nice and nice sweatshirts, etc. Awesome live bait. Mike is great at recommending the proper rigs and lures and bait!! Heading there again myself...
