Seriously the best pizza place in the area. Maybe even in Houston. Or the world?? Who knows. But this isn’t your traditional type of pizza place, so if you’re looking for lame boring pizza then this might not be your style!! They are the essence of small local business with unique food, everything made fresh (and totally w/ love) a super friendly, lax staff who’s serious about pizza. My go to is the Big Trouble In Little China w/ added extra ricotta. It’s like a teriyaki chicken pizza with pineapple, bacon, green onions. I love their ricotta and I would usually get the ricotta pizza but wanted something different. Sounds weird, but LITERALLY the best pizza I’ve ever had. The staff is awesome! The first time I ordered that pizza they were like weird flex but ok... and happily made it for me. When they delivered it, they said they loved experimenting w/ new toppings and suggested other pizzas I might like with added ricotta on it. Seriously above and beyond and super friendly every time I order or go in. Plus, their location is super cute and quirky, it totally fits the kind of pizza they make. And to the people saying it’s overpriced, are you kidding me??? A speciality pizza made fresh is like $18. Go back to Pizza Hut if you’re looking for cheap frozen pizza, buddy. All in all, never disappointed with Midnite Slice. A seriously great local business with...
Read moreThis place is hit and miss The first time I ordered from them it was good the second time it was bad, the third time it was good, the fourth time it was bad. I don't think I will order again because they are very inconsistent, it's hit-and-miss and I don't like that when it comes to pizza. Their delivery takes a really long time I waited an hour and I live down the street and this is a Monday night not a special day not with anything going on on TV a regular Monday night at 7pm My pizza came an hour later and it was hot I ordered the meatball pizza which wasn't very good and I ordered the half-price appetizer garlic twisty bread. It was giant lumps of dough with a little bit of mozzarella cheese and I didn't taste any garlic at all... It was very doughy almost raw like It was supposed to come with marinara dipping sauce and it didn't. I'm very disappointed because the last time I ordered the Jamaica me crazy Pizza and the barbecue chicken pizza but this time was a flop and the cheesy garlic bread was lumps of dough with no flavor and no sauce and it wasn't very cheap to order from there either it was around $25 for an 8 slice Pizza and cheesy bread.
They have such a cool menu and I like to support local business but I just can't give them a good review after 4...
Read moreMy friend and I left the boardwalk late enough that most everything else was closed, and we had a long stretch back to Houston with no options available. Midnite Slice was a lifesaver in that regard and ended up being one of the absolute best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at in my life. I don’t know how I’m supposed to go about my day knowing such great food is 40 minutes away. The menu has great options, the staff is really friendly and helpful, and all of them looked and acted just like a close family friend of mine which made me feel right at home. The diner is small in a really nice, cozy way, and it was just a nice place to be. My food was amazing and will probably feed me for at least a day or two with how big the servings are. Thank you to the staff for a great experience and I recommend this place to anyone on the fence about where to eat near Kemah!
ETA: I have gone back to this place every time I go to Kemah and in fact it's the main reason I even go to the Halloween event at Kemah every year now since it's pretty far. I've never had a bad experience, the food is always to die for and the staff is kind, helpful, friendly, and fast. My friends and I love Midnite Slice and I'll miss it terribly when I move...
