Just tried it for the first time and I will definitely be back! I had the Birria tacos plate and my wife had the queso Birria( same thing except it has cheese in it. Both plates cost the same at $12.47 per plate. Each order had 4 tacos. The flavor of the tacos and salsa were delicious! I especially like that they were not overly salted. ( That may explain why a few reviews claimed they were lacking taste, I however appreciated not feeling disgustingly bloated.) A few reviews mentioned the tacos were a little greasy and although I noticed that as well you have to consider that the corn tortillas are freshly fried giving them the perfect crisp texture!!!! Now as far as the amount of food I felt the tacos were properly filled. If you google how many ounces of meat goes in a standard taco it's 2 ounces, I felt like it covered that base if not slightly more. I am 5'8 155lbs and I can EAT EAT! Especially tacos . I was satisfied after finishing my plate. Could I have eaten more YUP!! especially since they were so good! If you're a bigger person or just super hungry you're going to want to add some extras to your order. My wife said the Agua Fresca was good and I thought $3.11 for a can of coke felt a bit high, Overall really enjoyed the vibe and delicious food. I hope this place continues to consider the feedback of its customers and pumps out some great food for...
Read moreTrying to provide helpful feedback because we desperately needed more family owned restaurants in the area. The flavors are excellent, but on the birria tacos, there was probably about a small tablespoon of meat on each one. The green sauce is excellent and like I said, the flavors are there, but it was way too expensive for the amount of meat. We also ordered a cheese quesadilla which ended up being double wrapped corn tortillas with a blob of cheese folded like a taco. Not worth $5 at all.. hopefully this is helpful because I would love for this place to last. For two orders of birrias, two “quesadillas”, and one order of excellent ceviche it cost $50+, but ultimately it was not worth the money.
Edit: I have returned for a second visit and ordered the same thing and when I tell yall they have perfected their orders- I mean it!! They have since added way more meat to their tacos and now a cheese quesadilla comes with two corn tortillas with cheese instead of just one. Flavors were still excellent and it seems they have listened to feedback! So thrilled and excited...
Read moreWell, the food was actually pretty good (not outstanding but good)……Eventually. Stopped in for 4 breakfast tacos at 11:15 on a Saturday. No one in drive thru 2 tables in restaurant. I went ahead and placed my order. I sat waiting for my food for 30 minutes. After about 15 while bringing chips and salsa to the two tables that walked in after me he told me they’re just finishing up. I waited 15 minutes more with no contact whatsoever while one of the tables after me already had their food. In that entire time I wasn’t offered chips and salsa nor even a water while waiting. Definitely a “juice not worth the squeeze” experience, plus no chips/salsa included in the order. Might order again from DoorDash or something if I can chill on my couch but service and wait time mean not likely to stop by the store again and I can’t imagine how long it would have taken if the place was even remotely busy. Fix the service and wait time maybe be a good little spot but c’mon guys, can’t even offer a drink and chips with a literal 30 minute wait from order to...
