Phenomenal pies, great coffee, and excellent service. I forgot to add photos until the pies were already gone, because we inhaled them so quickly. What I ordered: peach cobbler fried pie, bananas foster fried pie, strawberry rhubarb fried pie, and an iced peanut butter latte. The strawberry rhubarb pie was our absolute favorite. 1500/10. The cashier mentioned that it was a new item that was not yet listed on the menu and I’m very glad she recommended it because it was perfect. I used to be a pastry chef. I’ve eaten a lot of sweets in my time. The crust is great, flaky and buttery. Deep frying it obviously makes it more awesome and gives it that Texas state fair touch. The strawberry rhubarb filling was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. I really loved the contrast. Peach cobbler pie tasted like someone’s grandma made cobbler and then a heathen said “You know what would make this phenomenal dish more amazing? Deep frying it.” The heathen was correct: it’s awesome. It tastes like love and home and summertime. 10/10. Bananas foster pie was kind of reminiscent of banana pudding to my husband and I. He commented that it might be improved by switching the powdered sugar topping out with a glaze. 9/10. Peanut butter latte was pretty good. I don’t usually love the liquid coffee syrups, so I probably will opt for a more plain flavor like sugar free vanilla next time, but that’s entirely user error. I could still taste that the coffee was great underneath the syrup flavor, so I’m happy to get a different drink next time to better suit my preferences. I’m very much hoping that other people in our area discover this hidden gem and help to support this awesome small business in a time when many are struggling. Hopefully the photo of the empty takeout container gives everyone an indication of how we felt about the food quality.

I have been dying to try this place! Super cute & fun outdoor space. Inside where you order is small. Very kid & dog friendly. I can see this being really fun on the weekends with live music. We welcomed in with friendly smiles from the staff & an explanation of their menu. I started off with their Horchata. It was delicious! I also ordered a brunch mimosa. It is served in pint glass, which I don't mind. Initially, the girl making it started to pour half OJ & half champagne. I quickly stopped her & told her that was enough bc that isn't a great ratio to me. Prefer just a splash. 😉 My husband had their NOLA sandwich from their brunch menu. The beignet bun was awesome. The chicken was just okay. He said his egg was undercooked for his liking. He also tried their fried chocolate pudding pie & said it was delicious. I had their homemade boudin pie smothered in queso. It was scrumptious & my favorite! Especially with their awesome sauce. I also had their sausage & egg fried pie smothered in sausage gravy. It was alright. The sausage gravy was good, but I think I make better. Overall, cool place. We might come back for and try some more items.

I visited this restaurant last week and was extremely disappointed in my experience. I sent 2 emails to the addresses provided and have yet to receive a response. I gave the owner a chance to respond before my review. I was there around 12:30 and only saw a couple inside who were on their way out and a lady waiting outside. I waited 20 minutes before I was asked to place an order. I ordered 6 fried pies, a snickerdoodle latte on ice, and king cake Gelato. I was able to take the Gelato outside and waited. After waiting a while my coffee was brought out but was told by pies exploded in the fryer and had to be redone. I then waited even longer before my pies were delivered. I had already been there an hour so I chose not to look at the pies and much to my dismay they were extremely overcooked and some burnt! My mother and I attempted to eat the least overcooked peach cobbler pie. spent over $50 and was very disappointed. I live in Cypress and had gone to buy shrimp and visit my mother. I will not be visiting this establishment again.

I tried the Voodoo cold brew coffee with sweet cream and a bacon egg and cheese fried pie. The coffee was fantastic. Not overly bitter, just sweet enough and it packed a major punch of caffeine.

I wanted to love the pie, but when I bit in to it, the filling in the middle was ice cold. The fried pie dough was warm and tasted heavenly. I definitely could have just eaten around the filling and been satisfied. But I think the filling would have been better if it was warmed up before being put in to the pie dough and fried. It honestly tasted like it had either been refrigerated overnight or just come out of the freezer.

But this is not a deal breaker. I know this business is still relatively new and I'm sure they are still working some kinks out. They were also out of a few items (sweet potato pies, nitrogen for the nitro coffee) and again, probably just a matter of being new + opening in the middle of a pandemic etc. I will definitely be back to try it again. The gelato looked incredible and would make Damn Fine the perfect after dinner spot for dessert. They also have some interesting tater tot options and a big jar of kool aid pickles. There is something for everyone.

If none of the food options appeal to you, the coffee is still absolutely worth the trip. The shop is quaint and nicely decorated. There was some jazzy music in the background and the staff were very friendly and answered all of our questions. The seating area outside is a nice touch as well and the parking was adequate for the size of the business. Hopefully the pies next time will be 5 stars. They're definitely on the...

Love the setting....it was a gorgeous day and so nice to sit outside and enjoy it between the rain showers this winter. The little bit of everything menu is one of my favorites b/c I can never decide on what I want - so why not get a little bit of everything.

Except the cinnamon roll. A giant swirl of carbs with a mound of sweet icing on top. I don't even like cinnamon rolls but I couldn't pass it up. But I should have. It was hard, too hard for the plastic forks to penetrate. The icing is odd....it's more like a cream cheese icing and just didn't sync up palette-wise. I had to eventually pass on the roll and let the other at the table figure out how to eat something that should be warm. Oh yeah, they don't warm it up. It comes as is, from a display cabinet.

The cherry/rhubard pie was A M A Z I N G. And THIS item was warm and perfect. It wasn't too sweet and the outside crust was perfect...like a McDonald's cherry pie on steroids. I would recommend this item to everyone.

The Vietnamese coffee was S T R O N G, almost stronger than the ones you get in Bellaire. It hit the spot and would be something I'd drop by to order.

Would I visit again....not sure. I'm glad I...
