We decided not to go in to eat, but to go through the drive thru instead. This decision was based on the overall outside look of the facility, leading us to think that if the workers did not take pride enough in their job to wipe down the glass double doors that were so badly covered in smears of dirtiness, the dirtiest I've seen anywhere, then most likely they do not take the time to keep the buffet food area wiped down, therefore we figured we'd order some food to bring home. The problem is, that I'm not so sure that the food we received didn't come off of their buffet, because the biscuits were so crumbly hard, tht even though I tried a little bit of it pinched up into my mashed potatoes & gravy, it just wasn't worth eating. Out of the 4 biscuits we got i ate 1/4th of 1. The potatoes & green beans were just ok. I pulled out a couple of drk wilted looking green beans. What I went for, tht I'd been wanting for 3 days, fried chicken, disappointed me. It wasn't fresh. The extra crispy crust was not light colored but a drk color & the meat slighty tough, for sure no where close to tender. I haven't been to KFC in Searcy in a long while, but i have visited the 1 in Mt View when visiting family & it was very good fresh food. Searcy KFC has alot of wrk to do. They used to have good food. They had 1 eat in customer that we seen through the window & no one in the drive through. It was a Monday early evening & not busy. 2 employees were standing out front smoking, but they apparently don't have time to keep the place clean & fresh cooked food. Those biscuits were seriously old & dried out. I have no plans to return. Walmart serves better chicken than that. I dnt like the seasoning that Popeyes Chicken uses, nor do I care for their sides. Our little town we live in, close to Searcy, had a place that served all kinds of food, including fried chicken, but it burnt down a fw months ago, so Walmart chicken it will be from now on when I get a craving for...
Read moreNormally I've had good experiences with KFC, but this time was not one of them. My online experience was great. Easy to order, and convenient. Placed an order for $20 Fill Up(Crispy 8pc.) And a Popcorn Chicken meal with fries and Sierra Mist for my 1 and half year old. We live about 30 minutes away, and my fiancé picked up the order at 3:15pm on August 15. When she got it home I opened it to make plates. My daughter's meals was awful. She has almost all her teeth with the exception of eye teeth. The Popcorn chicken was overcooked and unedible. She couldn't chew it or the fries.... the fries were so old she couldn't cut through them. Yes I tested them both. As I fixed my fiancé and I a plate the first thing I noticed was our chicken was really dark. It was dried out, seemed to be under the heat lamp all day, and served to us. Of course we live far enough away I wasn't driving back to take it back for a refund. Our biscuits, mashed potatoes, and gravy were fine, but the main entrée and my daughter's meal was very poor. We'll likely not visit this...
Read moreWe’re to start where this store goes wrong. New item nope they don’t have the breast to make it. Served old food. I watched them break the golden rule of health code and that’s never take food back across the counter once it leaves the counter. It didn’t just leave the guy ate out it complained it was old asked them to make fresh ones one told him to keep the old food which you’re supposed to do. But then she clocked out. And the next girl on the shift. Made him bring it back in after he ate out it and took it to his car. Another customer ordered a famous bowl got 4 peace’s of chicken supposed to come with 5. All the manager said is do you want your one little peace and was very rude. No real leader or manager on the shift. No employee communicated with the others before they left. I’d give a negative review if possible. Rude not clean served old food. And broke health code violations. And I’ve been an assistant manager at little ceasars and Taco Bell. I’ve never seen anything as bad...
