I'm conflicted as I write this. I'll preface by saying I absolutely love good barbecue and I have heard this is the best around. With this being said, I had big expectations as I pulled into the parking lot at noon on a Saturday. I came from Sherwood, so it was about a 45 minute drive. Getting out of my truck, the first thing I noticed was the lack of any sort of smoke smell in the air. No smell of meat. Nothing. I didn't read too much into it as I placed my order. 3 combo platter with ribs, pulled pork, brisket, beans, and potato salad. I paid and anxiously awaited my order. When I finally received my order, I noticed that the bbq sauce was included in a container of its own -- a good sign to me, as it shows that they're proud of their meat and don't want to mask the flavor with sauce. Opening the container, I was pleased to see two large ribs, a decent portion of pulled pork, and two sizeable slices of brisket. I'll start with the sides first. The beans have a noticeable onion flavor to them, which I quite liked. The potato salad was reminiscent of whole hog's potato salad, which isn't my favorite. I'd prefer a classic mustard based potato salad, but that's personal preference and for what it was, it was fine. Now to the meats. The ribs were definitely the best. Albeit slightly overcooked (meat fell off the bones -- probably due to being reheated) they had the best flavor and really shined over the other meats. The pulled pork was very juicy, which was nice, but lacked in the flavor department. However, with the addition of the included sauce, the pulled pork was a solid option. Now onto the brisket. I'll start by saying that the flavor was great. The bark was heavy on the black pepper and pretty much spot on what I'd want as a flavor profile for brisket. Unfortunately, it was obviously made at least the day before and therefore was dry as a bone, since it was from the flat and not the point. For $28, I was expecting everything to be fresh and unfortunately, that was not the case. I could tell the beans were also reheated because they were cold in the middle. With this being said, I will give them the benefit of the doubt and will return for at least another try. Hopefully I just caught them on an off day but my expectations were not met on this particular occasion, unfortunately.

KnightFire BBQ has quickly worked itself up from a food truck to a full-fledged sit down barbecue restaurant and it has done it only in a short matter of time through dedicating itself to the craft of flavorful smoked meats with real firewood and the love of good food and community. If you can’t tell the difference between Knightfire and all the other BBQ’s heating their ribs in the oven then the craft is wasted on you. But if you can taste the hours of smoked infused goodness, you know and we’ll probably cross paths soon at their new dine in location on Race Street. ##bbq##bbqtiktok##bbqfood##bbqc hicken##bbqtok##barbecue##barbec ewings##barbecued##anthonybourd ain

Searcy is a town full of restaurants, however there is a severe shortage of GOOD restaurants. Knightfire falls into the latter category. I ordered the half chicken w/ cucumber salad and potato salad. I'm glad I went to the park to eat this so nobody could watch me stuff my face with this succulent chicken. The spice rub was bold but paired well with the chicken. The sauce is vinegary and peppery with a hint of sweetness. The only critique I could think of is that the sides were a tad under salted, but the quality of ingredients is higher than most restaurants in the area so not a big deal. This is a place I would bring friends visiting from out of town.

Knight Fire BBQ in Searcy is likely the best BBQ in town. My wife and I had the opportunity to pick up dinner as we were visiting family in Searcy. I ordered the sliced brisket sandwich basket and she decided on 1/2 rack of ribs and link sausage. My sandwich was 5 of 5 stars. I will say not my most favorite BBQ sauce but it was generally ok. I've had some that are frankly just NOT good, this was not the case, it seemed to be a bit heavy on the bourbon side or too sweet for my liking but not as sweet as KC style. Brisket was nice and moist and quite tasty. My wife says her ribs were somewhat dry but gave them 3.5 out of 5. They were mostly fall off the bone but did not just separate like you like. The flavor profile was very good however. Her sausage was a 4 out of 5, but lacking some smoky and spices with some heat, not burn your mouth heat but just needed some kick. She felt the same about the bbq sauce. Would we return, Yes and Yes with out a doubt. Always good to find a place where they known how to cook brisket with a nice smoke ring and tender. If you have a chance to go, please do, I do not think you will be disappointed. In fact we were quite pleased. ---Nice Job...

Today was the day to take the time to try Knightfire Barbeque. It was recommended by family living in Searcy. This is what we ordered and what we thought. Knightrider- fresh bun and loads of meat, the mustard slaw did compliment the bland meat. BBQ sauce must have been used to only dress the bun because there was none on my pork. If you love that smoky flavor in a bbq it is not here . I would give this a 3.5/5 Just Two of Us- turkey ok, not getting that smoky flavor, baked beans just ok, and street corn , uh someone didn’t follow the recipe and all I got was a lot of lime juice . Nastiest street corn I’ve ever had! It gets a zero. This combo I give a 3/5. Would we order again? Probably not Strictly a pick up and go place even though there are a few picnic tables outside. It was sunny and I did not see umbrellas on any of the picnic tables. Parking there’s maybe five slots in front but some on the side but you access a street over. It is on busy Main and patience is needed when...
