Breakfast this morning was too good not to share about. A couple of friends were talking about making coffee the other night. I inserted that I know nothing about coffee, because it is too bitter for me. All I know is that I enjoy a caramel macchiato from Starbucks is the furthest in the coffee realm Iโve ever gone. Then I learned about light roast. Alex, a guy at my church who also works at @kibomidnightoil (MO), was talking about different things and combinations offered at MO and offered to help me find something I might like. So, this morning I woke up, headed over to pay him a visit and experience something new. He suggested a Mr. Blonde or Black Bear, but as I was reading the menu waiting on him I found the Woodsman (black walnut, maple, cinnamon, and [I think] macadamia something...). It looked interesting, and then Alex told me it was his favorite. Baristaโs choice! So I took it! Itโs a very nice blend of flavors. To make things worse, my computer was dead, and so too it seemed my soul. But that is when Anna Grace Langdon came to the rescue! Her calm demeanor and exceptional service brought so much joy back into my day and lifted my spirits to the heights of the heavens. Literally life-changing. Midnight Oil, AND THEIR EMPLOYEES,...
ย ย ย Read moreThis is one of the quintessential stops in Searcy. The decor and style inside are so cozy, perfect for studying or a date or a fun time out with friends. The food is really good, we tried The Untitled sandwich with roasted chicken and avocado on the multigrain bread. It was really delicious! The kids tried the peanut butter and jelly...I even stole a few bites when they weren't looking. My husband tried The Cuban sandwich, with ham and cheese. It was all fabulous, no complaints. The staff is very friendly, the bathrooms are clean, the outside seating area is relaxing as well. We loaded up on several bags of fresh coffee for only $10 a piece, which was totally worth it....
