We were greated politely, nice waitress. The atmosphere is very blah, Instagram makes the place look lively and fun, but it is not. For drinks we ordered Agua de piña, and an orchata. They were not very flavorful just Ok. The beans and salsa looked promising but lacked flavor. The guacamole was good! The coco loco came and it looked as pictured, it comes with shrimp, octopus, and scallops well, they didn't add the scallops. To make it worse the seafood seemd to be from week ago! It was very rubbery and just old. For the appetizer we ordered the mejillones with culichi sauce, they were very fishy. My son's tacos (from the kids menu) were Ok after adding lime salt and pepper. The beans and rice on his plate we're stale. Needless to say that this place is hyped and overpriced for really bad and low quality food. Good service, I feel bad...
Read moreI am so sad to be writing this review, because the food, drinks, and service were wonderful. Unfortunately, within 24 hours of eating here, 4 out of the 7 people in my party came down with food poisoning. So do they know that they are making people sick, or are they unaware? Either way, you'd expect staff to at least be apologetic about the experience. Ugh I hate doing this, I've never written a yelp review before, but I don't want anyone else to get sick from this place!! Too bad, because as I said above, everything was great...

Our waitress was absolutely lovely and attentive.
However....
The food was nothing to write home about, especially for the prices (YIKES!). I ordered a ceviche tostada which had TONS of lime. My tostadas were stale and fried in dirty oil. I took the leftovers, but I don't I'll eat them. My partner had fried tilapia which he liked, but it came with fries which just seemed to cheapen the meal. Beans were too salty, and I wasn't able to give them to my 8 month old. Rice was bland.
Overall, I don't think I could recommend this place which is a bummer because ceviche...
