Wow, Honor Mexicano Restaurant was a wonderful surprise! I went in not knowing what to expect, and was blown away by the amazing food and the wonderful staff. We went for my brother-in-law's birthday and everyone left satisfied.
Chips and Salsa: Let's start with the salsa, honestly some of the best I have ever had! Combined with the fresh made lightly salted tortilla chips, it was hard not to go overboard (but I did).
Tacos Al Pastor: They were fantastic! The Al Pastor was well seasoned and cooked super well. The tortillas were toasted slightly to give you a crunch with each bite. The green sauce it came was great to poor on the tacos. All around pleased with this dish.
Carne Asada: The star of the show! My sister-in-law and I got the Carne Asada and we were both blown away. The thin cut steak was marinaded, seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Honestly some of the best meat I've ever had! That combined with the refried beans, rice, pico de Gallo, guacamole and the provided tortillas, the tacos we made these fixing were beyond our expectations.
Sopapillas: The staff gave these to my brother-in-law for his birthday and he shared them with the rest of us. They were delicious! They are like the Taco Time Crustos, but a...
Read moreI stumbled onto this place in South Park today. I was actually going for the pizza place, but the bar/restaurant side wasn’t opened yet. So I walked down the street and saw a small Mexican restaurant. I popped my head in the doorway. It was clean and inviting so I went in and took a seat. The waiter was very welcoming and even tho I didn’t plan to have Mexican food today I decided to give it a shot. I sat down at a super clean table by the window and the waiter brought the chips and salsa which was excellente. Fresh, homemade and not greasy. The salsa was also very good. Not too hot. I ordered the chicken enchilada as I always do and it came quite quickly. It was awesome. Oh and I forgot to mention the Cadillac Margarita was fabulous. Not too sweet and extremely smooth. I failed to take a picture of my dish b/c it looked so good. I dove right in and then realized I forgot to take the pic. This is definitely a great place for a first date, family gathering and all in between. You won’t be...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Honor Mexican Food, and let me just say—this place absolutely blew me away. Without a doubt, it’s the most delicious Mexican food I’ve had since moving to the Seattle area.
I ordered the asada nachos, and wow… they did not disappoint. The asada was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, flavorful, and not a single bad piece of meat in the entire dish. Every bite was a perfect blend of textures and bold, authentic flavors.
The service? Top notch. Our waiter was incredibly attentive, full of great energy, and had a personality that made the entire experience even better. The kind of service that makes you feel truly taken care of. And the chef clearly knows what they’re doing—every element of the dish was spot on.
If you’re in search of authentic Mexican food paired with amazing service, look no further. I honestly can’t wait to come back. This...
