The Clock-Out Lounge is a lot of things to a lot of people but this past weekend it happened to be the venue of my wedding and holy smokes did they knock it out if the park.
We hosted 170 guests, a five-piece Linda Ronstadt tribute act (Stonepony, look em up they crushed), a 13-foot-long animatronic dinosaur, and a disco/boogie afterparty (DJ Montel Spinozza from pdx, also freaking incredible) and it was all handled with such seeming ease we’re still scratching our heads days later. Owner/operator Jodi worked with us months in advance to make sure everything was to our liking, with no detail ever being regarded as too big or small. Ramona and her crew behind the bar kept our mob of thirsty guests with drinks in their hands at all times and we marveled that at no point did we ever look over at the line and observe choke points. They also had plenty of options for our guests that don’t drink alcohol and didn’t make that feel like an afterthought like so many establishments foolishly do. The addition of Shady Lane Pizza is something that everyone on the south end is buzzing about and is the perfect match for the Clock Out’s difficult-to-describe hifi-dive vibe. Finally, the band sounded amazing and Chris the sound engineer had it dialed in just right.
The only thing that’s a little annoying is that our wedding guests still won’t stop messaging us about how effing amazing the night was and it’s all thanks to the Clock-Out and it’s wonderful crew. Cannot recommend enough and if you're not acquainted, please do...

Then i awkwardly told him what i wanted to drink. I told him i know i was supposed to order food at a different window but asked where a menu was. He Man-splaned me that this is two separate business and that all orders would be at separate windows. After that a man came up and said he never got his second round of drinks and he was going to close out.
When asking what the Pizza Person liked to eat they said "everything is good." I ordered pizza and it was alright. Went to Windy City Pies for my birthday a few years back and it was the same very odd and uncomfortable service for an okay meal. Definitely was not worth $35 pizza and $35 in drinks.
I dont think I...
Read moreThis is a separate bar and pizza business operating in the same space. The pizza is Chicago style and is some of the best pizza in Seattle. You can either order any whole pizza on the menu, or maybe 3 or 4 different daily rotating styles of pizza by the slice. The pizza crust is excellent! The bar is fine. Family friendly. There was the cutest older couple, probably in their 80s, on one side of us, and a family with kids on the other side. They have live music, although I don't know if this is weekly or what. A band was doing a sound check just before we left. I swear, the pizza is SO good! Come by and have a slice and you will be convinced. The toppings on mine were so freeking fresh...
