I've been eating regularly here for 8 or 9 years now, and I have to say, I am never disappointed! I've eaten Thai food all over Seattle and this is one of the best. It's always so fresh and flavorful. They always ask what spice level you want and then check in later to see if it was OK. They give you an nice variety of vegetables, unlike most places where it's just celery, cabbage and onion, which I consider "cheating" on the vegetables. You can get zucchini, broccoli etc. My fave dishes are red curry, green curry and divine massaman. I always order either tofu or chicken so I can't speak to any other meats. If you get the lunch special (weekdays only) it's a slightly smaller portion (I like that!) and rice is included so you get a deal. Weekends is dinner entrees only. Very friendly host, quiet, calm atmosphere even though it's right on MLK. My only tiny tiny issue is that they always play the same music on a never-ending loop. This is also a must for me whenever I have friends visiting from...
Read moreFirst time vistor. Ordered due to proximity. Ordered Pad Kee Mow (xtra veggie no tofu), Veggie Fried Rice, Tom Yum with chicken. Got a follow up call to see if we wanted egg in the fried rice (yes, to egg. No food allergies/restrictive diet, just didn't want a super meaty meal. We appreciated the call, for clarity sake+). The space is nicely adorned and has big windows to look out at MLK/Light Rail. The staff was very polite. It definitely gives off a "family buisness" vibe, which I appreciate. The FLAVORS were super on point+++, the serving sizes were generous (3 dishes, easy 4 meals- great value for take-out++). Overall, I was very impressed with their authentic dishes (I am half-Thai). We will definitely go back. It's a super easy grab coming off the Light Rail. Hopefully, next time they'll...
Read moreHands down, one of the best places for fried rice (Fried Rice Delux - $12.95) since I moved to Seattle. You should believe when I say "one of the best". I'm Asian and my parents used to operate/own a Chinese buffet. So, I should know and I know good rice when I eat it. đ
I disagree with other reviews about the price being expensive. The price is great for the proportion. It ain't one of those boujee places that serves 3 bite plate for $15.
It's usually $10-$12 per plate of food. The ingredients used needs to be fresh since Asian cuisines involved in a lot of vegetables. And we all know vegetables spoil very quickly.
Yet some people don't bat an eye when paying $10 for a meal at a fastfood place that literally sell you...
