Yum's Chinese Food — Restaurant in Sebring

I went to this restaurant a couple days ago no it was during the hurricane well actually the day after and hardly any of us had power I expected there to be a long wait and I was OK with that I had to wait 15 minutes just to get my order taken and then it was another half an hour for my food When my food came out it was the wrong order bitter and so I was frustrated and she said well what do you want me to do I said just give me a refund but I realized that I was hungry and decided well I guess wait for them to remake the food so it was another 20 minutes after that It was some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had in my entire life so not only did I wait for well over an hour to get my food there was never any apology there wasn't any discount on my food nothing I paid full price for a c* Chinese I will never go back there again...

Some dishes are overpriced. On several occasions, the meat in the entrees I had did not taste fresh, with the worst being around dinner time. So are they cooking it ahead of time and just re-heating it? When you do that, meat can actually taste "chewy" and not fresh. I have even said out loud I don't mind waiting for it to be cooked fresh, but to no avail. I'd like to think that time would garner the freshest food (dinnertime). You can spend about $15 here for Orange Chicken (dark meat chicken), or you can ride a few minutes away and get fresher tasting food, & get a whole buffet for that same price, as well as a larger variety. Yums may be understaffed. I don't recommend spending a lot here for the quality...

I ordered the Shrimp & Lobster dinner and my husband ordered Roast Pork Lo Mein for my birthday. He picked it up and we sat by the fireplace... almost threw up! It was slop. The sauce with the shrimp was a sloppy mess looking like slime with maybe two pieces of shrimp. We were so grossed out that he put his meal in the fridge while I threw mine out. When he was gone today visiting his Mom in Punta Gorda I decided to warm up his meal. I swear there was an eyeball (Gecko?) in it so I have been sick ALL day just thinking about it. We have eaten here at least a dozen times in the last 3 years and for the past year each visit has us saying never again. Well. Never again for...
