Gathering Grounds Cafe — Restaurant in Seekonk

We went to The Gathering Place Cafe and Fall River Carousel a few weeks ago, and I am very glad that we did. First, we grabbed a bite to eat, and I thought the chicken salad was amazing! Then my husband decided to grab a banana split for our two year old twins and us to share, and that was amazing as well. Even though the twins had never been on a carousel, my husband took a chance and purchased the day pass for each of them, and Victoria (I am so sorry if I am misspelling your name!) was kind enough to head up and run the carousel for them. We ended up being the only ones there, so the kids kept picking new horses to ride, and they rode at least six or seven times. All in all, it was a wonderful time, and I am very thankful to Victoria for being so patient and letting us go on several times. My 1st ever visit to Gathering Grounds~ what a wonderful experience! Very easily accessible from Providence/East Providence. Such a welcoming, cozy spot with seating inside and outside under a covered porch. Inside there is so much to look at...books, art... They have a delicious & comprehensive drink menu (the Miller's Pecan Pumpkin Pie latte is incredible)!!! They have ice cream, including a vegan vanilla option! What a great spot, this venue offers a slice of true Americana its just a place for friends,families,couples to get together and enjoy ice cream or coffee. The space inside is colorful and warm and the staff of younger people are always sweet and fun to talk even if its just for a brief moment. The pastry offerings are amazing as well. The indoor seating is small and cozy to sit and chat quietly,read a book, or study/work. The library and kid space also make it a great place to bring kiddos!.
