THE NEW APPLEHOP!! FIRST IN THE COUNTRY! We tried it. We were disappointed. We feel ripped off The food looks big & delicious in the pictures but I should have brought measuring tape🤣 That's why we got bamboozled. The menu pics are deceiving! We gave it the benefit of the doubt. It's new... there's gonna be kinks to work out. We get it. We assumed things were going to be hectic. Good things. - Our server did his best.. He seemed overwhelmed. Understandable. - The atmosphere was OK. At least its not drab Grey and sad bc it had some color. - considering the busy afternoon we got our food in a reasonable time. - the layout is MUCH more inviting and makes way more sense than what it used to be as the IHOP. The remodeling makes more sense now. Why we won't go back any time soon: We ordered a lot or so we thought. They had a 2 for $25, $28 or $32 that came with EITHER 2 salads OR a 10 count of boneless wings or an 8 count of mozzarella sticks for the appetizer to share....so we went for the 2 for $32 option and buffalo boneless wings as the appetizer. We added an appetizers sampler on top of that. It had 4 mozzarella sticks, some kind of hot honey chicken nuggets (it was supposed to be Buffalo) there were 5 of these little nuggets, a spinach artichoke dip with tortilla chips and some kind of chicken queasdilla? Sounds like a lot of food right? Absolutely not. -(on its own it costs $12) The 10 count "boneless wings" were actually 10 SMALL chicken nuggets coated in sauce. I wish I was kidding. I was shocked. They had the nerve to serve this and call it a "deal". Wendy's has bigger, cheaper tastier sauced nuggets. -(on its own they charge $11 for the 8 count of mozzarella sticks)the mozzarella sticks weren't even melted inside. It was just fried and the insides were lukewarm. -(on its own they charge $10 for 2 little flour tortillas and a little bit of filling)the quesadillas were bland. No signature sauce or spices just chicken, cheese and tiny tomatoes and onions. -(on its own they charge $11) the spinach artichoke dip tasted watered down. It also had no flavor. The chips it was served with was somehow stale. I don't even know how that could be bc its a grand opening. We kept eating the dip because surely it can't be that bad. Maybe it was us? But no.. it was green goop that barely even tasted like spinach. I demand to know the ingredients bc none of that dip tasted like real food. Just green flavorless goop I got the maC & cheese chicken tender hot honey. It was on the more expensive side so I figured maybe they do something different... nope. It's pathetic - I double checked.. this item cost $16 on its own without the "deal"! For a SMALL sized bowl of macaroni (it was pene) and cheese with 3 TINY pinkies of a friend "tenders". The tender was the size of 2 nuggets squished together. All I could do was laugh. THIS WAS THE EXPESIVE END! -The nuggets had a few flecks of bacon bits on it. Occasionally I would nearly crack a tooth on one of them bc some were super hard for some reason. They were real bacon but tasted like bacon bits. -the pasta was over cooked but the really awful bit was the cheese sauce. It was literally watery. Not creamy. It was also bland & tasted like flour? I didn't even eat a 1/4 of it. Didn't even want to take it home. I just left it there. Husband got the "bourbon chicken & shrimp" it came with mashed potatoes. It tasted like burnt black pepper. Idk whats "bourbon" about that. The tiny bit of grilled mushrooms & onions did not add any substantial flavor. THIS WAS THE EXPENSIVE END OF THE MENU! The appetizers sampler was $20! For that price point they came with some bull on that plate. 5 TINY chicken nuggets, 2 tortillas with a small amount of bland filling, 4 lukewarm mozzarella sticks & spinach artichoke dip that tasted like it came out of a can. The sad plate of tiny sauced nuggets looked so pitiful on the table. Again.. we didn't want to overload the already flustered server so we hurried up and left. Husband got a basic coffee ($4!)... it came out to a whopping $60! Never again

First of all, we no longer come here for the food nor service, but rather simply for the entertainment. The night shift workers are abysmal, think Night At the Museum meets the streets of Detroit. I’m pretty sure the only application requirement is just being able to last at LEAST half a shift without smoking meth, but with service like theirs that may be optional. I'm surprised they remembered the ice in the ice water. They’re obviously more worried about heating their spoons than heating the food, as everything came out freezing cold. If the dollar-sized cricket hopping around applied he may be promoted to General Manager, seeing as to how he's probably the most sober in the building. Waiters would be lovely if they knew where they were. On a positive note, you always feel better about yourself after coming here, because at least YOU can read the menu ā¤ļø

Food was ok not bad but not great. The pasta tasted cold and old. The steak was very good but the mash potatoes came out like warm. In the other hand the burger was a solid 8 out of 10 , but again the fries tasted like they had dat out for a while. Service was not th best. Waitress would forget to come to the table and I finally had to just walk to the counter to get a refill. Other than that she was a nice person. The atmosphere .... Floors are dirty and needed to be cleaned. Tables are smalland not a lot of room. Rest need to be cleaned and didn't have either toilet paper or paper towels. Told the worker at the front when I went in, and when we the the kids went to the bathroom and after an hour , they still hadn't fixed the problem. Im not going to say stop or don't stop. I just know I will never go back to this store l.

That's why we got bamboozled. The menu pics are deceiving!

Good things. Our server did his best.. He seemed overwhelmed. Understandable. The atmosphere was OK. At least its not drab Grey and sad bc it had some color. considering the busy afternoon we got our food in a reasonable time. the layout is MUCH more inviting and makes way more sense than what it used to be as the IHOP. Why we won't go back any time soon:

We ordered a lot or so we thought.

My recent experience at IHOP left me extremely disappointed and frustrated. The level of service and the excessive wait time for our food were simply unacceptable. Despite being told that we were just three more in line, we ended up waiting for an hour while watching others around us not only receive their meals promptly but also have their incorrect orders replaced and then receive their bill to leave.

The wait itself was already infuriating, but what made matters worse was witnessing other customers experiencing similar issues. As we sat there, hungry and increasingly upset, we observed another couple at a nearby table who also decided to walk out. They had apparently waited an incredibly long time for their food, and when it finally arrived, their pancakes were as hard as rocks. It was disheartening to see that we were not the only ones who had suffered such a disappointing experience.

The fact that multiple customers, including ourselves, felt compelled to leave without receiving our meals speaks volumes about the poor management and inefficiency at this IHOP location. Waiting for an hour and still not having our food served was not only a waste of our time but also a source of distress for our children, who became increasingly upset as they grew hungrier.

Customer satisfaction should be a top priority for any establishment, especially a popular chain like IHOP. Unfortunately, the service and wait time we encountered were far from satisfactory. The lack of communication and failure to deliver on their promises left us with no choice but to leave. It is truly disheartening to witness other customers experiencing similar issues, as it indicates a pattern of poor service and management.

I sincerely hope that IHOP takes these concerns seriously and addresses the issues at hand. Improving their service efficiency and ensuring that customers are not left waiting for unreasonable amounts of time should be a priority. As it stands, I cannot recommend this particular IHOP location to anyone, as the overall experience was marred by frustration, hunger, and ultimately,...

A few weeks ago I decided to have dinner at ihop with some friends. It was about 10:30 at night on a Friday. We waited 15 minutes to be seated and when I finally got seated It took me 20 minutes to get our drinks. I over heard the servers fighting about who was going to take my table. They were saying that "they knew I wasn't going to tip." Finally after about 30 minutes some lady approached my table and got out food order. I didn't mention the conversation I over heard amongst the servers because I didn't want anyone to spit in my food. I then waited over 2 hours for my food. They were busy so I didn't stress the situation. When I finally got tired of waiting, I called the server over there and asked her what the delay was. She then stated she was the manager and that her serves said that I was going to "Dine and dash" so they never put in my order. I have never in my life felt so humiliated. I then left 20 for the drinks on my table and left. I returned to Ihop today to see if I would get the same treatment, and it was ironically the best service I have gotten from any restaurant. I don't know If it's because of the time of day that I c a me this time. But it was a totally different environment. I got seated instantly. My drink and food order were placed within five minutes, and the food was hot and delicious. My server was an older African American lady, and she was very professional. The host was entertaining and the atmosphere was pleasant. It seems that the night is the worst time to go, just a heads up. But honestly speaking I would highly recommend a meeting about teaching servers how to treat customers. ihop almost lost my business, I can only imagine the others that...
