Waited for 24 mins for my food and drink. Then someone finally came to me with a dr pepper and asked what I had to eat. I told her and she said she knows where I am. She went to the back and a minute or 2 pass and someone came to me and said they are out of what I ordered. I had already been here going on 30 minutes and you only get x amount of time for a lunch break. She asked me what I wanted instead and she said it will be ahead of everyone else's order. Not a fan of this and how everyone else gets their drinks right as they sat down but I had to wait 24 mins for just my drink then to be told they are out of what I had already ordered and paid for. Well, about 5 mins later the first lady showed back up and said she found my order. Thing is, if they made it and forgot about it, it should be lukewarm at best not so piping hot i can't put in my mouth which is a tell tale sign of using a microwave. I atleast got an apology but they did nothing to make it right. The potato was fine on the first have but the second half was a bit undercooked. Grainy potato. The pulled pork was okay at its best. It tasted a lot like a sloppy joe. Not impressed at all. The apple turnover was good, so whoever made that did a good job. The fact I waited almost 35 mins in total (I know this because I set a stop watch for my lunchbreaks so I can track my time) and everyone else around me was getting food and not me, is ridiculous. She asked me how it was and she seemed upset that I said I more than likely won't be coming back. Waiting 35 mins for a microwaved potato is criminal. No mention of getting a refund or a partial refund. Just an apology and "were short staffed" when they were practically falling over each other from everyone there. Last thing. It made me feel so terrible when they were walking around and chatting up their regulars when they had got there after me and got there food before me.
I won't be coming back. Unless they want another shot, but I ain't paying. You all are nice and I wish nothing but the best, and i am sure you guys don't do this to other people from how welcoming yall were, but the way I was...
Read moreWhat an incredible disappointment. We ordered a Reuben a Philly cheese steak and a kids grilled cheese. The Reuben was thin with an astoundingly salty store bought corned beef. The Philly tasted as though made from a microwaved filling on an old roll. It was also very salty. The kids' grilled cheese was hard and dry. To follow that, we had a very dry slice of strawberry cake and what they called a pineapple upside-down cake. The cakes, my sons gingerbread man, and even my tea all tasted about 3 days old. All of this ran us $60! As for services, our waitstaff seemed to want to be elsewhere and had on house slippers. I would rather they had spent less time and money on the over the top Christmas decorations and more on...
