I’ve always loved Jet’s Pizza, and this location near Madeira Beach never disappoints. Whether it’s the 4 Corner or 8 Corner Detroit-style pizza, it’s always hot, fresh, and perfectly made. The service is consistently excellent.

After Hurricane Helene hit, I was down at our family home—one we’ve had for over 35 years—handling cleanup and repairs. It looked like a war zone in our neighborhood and all of the surrounding homes and businesses on the beach. Our house, built on stilts, held up well, but many nearby lost everything. I lost a truck and dealt with major damage, but in the grand scheme, we came out pretty lucky.

During that time, I was there alone for a while, working on the house. Being a Detroit native, having a Jet’s Pizza nearby brought a real sense of comfort and normalcy. It reminded me how grateful I am that our beach community has a place like Jet’s so close by. Great food, great people, and a little slice of home when you need it most.

I pre-ordered a pizza at 2pm to be delivered at 7pm. I called the location at 7:15pm to find out where my pizza is and the first guy said "it's still in the oven and we don't have a driver for it". Then he put me on hold and put a "manager" on the phone who said "it's raining and we don't have a driver right now" and then went on to say "I called a DoorDash to have it delivered" and then went on to say "I have no idea what time it will be delivered". At that point I told him to forget it and just refund my money. The pizza ended up getting delivered at 8pm...after I already ordered from another restaurant and was getting ready for bed. So I ended up with a cold/wet pizza, they still went ahead and charged me for the pizza, delivery, and tip, and I had already eaten. I understand that sometimes places can't get the help they need to run their business, but at the very least call the customer and tell them. Terrible, terrible...

I ordered a Pizza this afternoon to be delivered at 10:45 pm tonight. The driver pulled up right on time! Food was excellent! J-E-T-S.....Jet's Pizza. Delivered right on time. Excellent food!

Update: Bay Pines/St.Pete location. Tried to order online at 4:45pm. Wouldn't work. Tried to text the order. Wouldn't work. Called the Corporate Office in Michigan. Closed at 4:30pm! How many orders are being lost? Obviously no one cares!

Gave Jets another shot. Ordered a large pizza and Italian Deli Boat. Pizza was ok. Deli Boat was ALL CRUST. Couldn't find ingredients with a search warrant. This used to be such good food. They have obviously cut so many corners. They don't sell what you want. They sell what they want to sell. And it is not good. Spend your money...
