Very attractive restaurant. The waiting area was in an enclosed foyer with seating available. We didn't need to wait but I was impressed with the arrangement. Restaurant is tastefully decorated and there are tables and booths. The sushi bar had plenty of seats too.
I ordered the Fresh Roll, seaweed salad and the Spider Classic Roll - The Fresh Roll was fresh rice paper wrapped with a rice noodle, shrimp, lettuce carrots, tofu, cucumber and basil. It was served with peanut sauce which was way too sweet for my taste. The roll itself was delicious.
I had a taste of my friend's eggroll which was stuffed with chicken, bean thread, carrots and celery. Typical eggroll.
The seaweed salad was good but it was disappointing to find that the seaweed was layered over a huge amount of shredded carrots.
The Classic Spider Roll was decent and affordably priced. It was prepared with soft shell crab, smelt roe, krab, asparagus and onion. Tasty but I'll try something else next time.
The star of our visit was the Seafood Hot Pepper lunch special. My friend requested wide noodles rather than jasmine rice and raved about it. It was a generous combination of shrimp, scallops and squid sauteed.with bell peppers, hot peppers, onions and basil. She ordered it medium heat which had a kick but needed to add more spice from hot tray for taste (can always add but sure can't remove). The lunch special included an eggroll and soup.

When my mother and I ordered our food, my sushi came out first and after 15-20 minutes my moms pad Thai came out. The pad Thai looked and tasted differently than it usually does, we usually love it! We informed the waitress of this service lag and unsatisfactory dish and she proceeded to call us âstupidâ for making the observation and made petty, rude and passive aggressive statements towards us. I have never experienced such disrespect by a waitress. When she walked back into the kitchen we heard her screaming Iâm guessing to the other staff. Another woman approached us asking what happened. As we explained she interrupted us and apologized without eye contact or sincerity. We ended up getting to go boxes and leaving due to how uncomfortable we felt. This has been one of the many unsatisfactory experiences at lanna Thai, and we will never be dining there again.
Their staff changes so frequently. Additionally, if you are there one minute after 6 they will not serve the early bird which is served until 6. If itâs anywhere near 6 they will look at their watch making them look extremely cheap.    Read moreFirst we walked into no one at the front. When the lady approached us, she had AirPods in and pointed to a table behind a wall. We had to try to find it and eventually ask her where the table was. Next we sat down and 10 seconds later the server asked us if we were ready. We ordered appetizers and drinks. We had no napkins or silverware the entire meal. After serving the appetizers the waiter never came back. He would walk back and forth knowing we were waiting for some help. He wouldnât even bother to look in our direction. We then saw him MULTIPLE times sit down with AirPods in to watch something on his phone at one of the booths. This lasted about 30 minutes. We had to ask for the sushi menu and when he came to collect the menu, he never asked us what we wanted so we never got to order our entrees. He never for the rest of the meal came up to our table to ask if we needed anything or to order our dinner. We had to get up and leave after just the appetizers.
