Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Semmes

Me and my husband live in Mississippi but travel often to semmes, Alabama. Wasn't too hungry but his sugar got a little low around 1 after lunch earlier today. Decided we would split a 3 piece tender meal, masj potatoes w biscuit , diet coke, ordered extra sm.dirty rice as well. At window we were charged almost 15 dollars and way too fast a bag was coming at my window as well as a small very sweaty wet drink. The sm. drink Wasn't diet cola for sure, we know as I stated my husband is a diabetic .Also no 3 chicken tenders/stripes but lots of pieces of hard crust we couldn't eat. Potatoes and gravy not the great tasting ones that Popeyes are famous for at all. Gravy had not all them seasonings in the gravy. Rice I don't know because we decided not to even open it. Thank goodness we had 1 biscuit to split and it was actually 👌. We usually never like to complain but 15 dollars!!!! For a biscuit!!! This bothered me until I just had to call and speak with manager about 10 min. ago. Didn't say his name but very polite and said he would be upset as well over what happened but it didn't happen on his shift, he works 4-11. This happened on dayshift crew. He took my name I'm guessing to pass this on to dayshift manager. He didn't say it would be made up to us but then I didn't ask. Don't want to have to ask. Seems like we all are paying way too much, too often, for nothing but zip! I'm tired of it and it's not going to get any better if we keep on taking junk without speaking out about these very unfortunate and in bad taste happenings! And I hate to...

I very rarely rate poorly but this was a mess. When we got there, there were no other customers in line and they asked us to pull up to wait for our food. I told them, kindly, that I prefered to wait by the window but would move if anyone else pulled up. The girl seemed fine with it but seconds later the manager guy snapped open the window and told me to move. He wasn't extremely rude about it but I then explained to him that I had an anxiety issue and I would prefer to wait there since there was no one behind me and I wasn't holding up the service. He proceeded to tell me I needed to move so he could clear his time. I ended up circling the building and getting back to the window so his time could reset. I didn't say this then, but I really feel like it is extremely unprofessional to ask a customer to move away from the window just to clear the time and make it seem like they gave me the food quickly when in reality it took more than 30 minutes of waiting. I waited by the window 15 minutes until someone came behind me then moved up as promised. Then waited 5 minutes to be able to drive back around to the window where she gave me the order. Checked the order and was missing an item so waited inside the store 10 minutes for my completed order. When I finally made it home, all of the food was cold, the chicken was soggy, and the "large" sides were only halfway full. Drive thru only, I undestand! Place order and the drive thru person didn't even acknowledge my good afternoon, very busy I undestand. Lady tells me pull up and will bring order to you, drive thru mind you, I understood. Waited 15 minutes, walk up to drive thru window, guy tells me, oh nuggets are frozen, do you want tenders instead? I said ok, if it sppeds the process. 10 minutes later I walk inside the store, lady screams dining room close, I explain lady I am waiting for my order, another lady screams it been prepared. Sat in my care, 12 minutes later another lady walks outside to bring an order to another driver. I ask her for my order, she said, it will be out soon, walks away. I said to her can I please have my money back, she said is coming out now. 7 minutes later she brings somebody's order. I said this is not mine, she walks away without saying anything to me. She walks by my car and said to her, I am not mad at yih but where is my order? She said is coming out in a few minutes. I said to her, you wont give my money back but more than a 1/2 hour later I still dont have my order. Either one or the other. She walks in comes back out with a bag. I should have checked it before I drove off, I didn't, my fault. As I am driving to hit the 65 south to Florida, my wife said didnt you order a combo meal? I said yes I did. No fries and no biscuit.
