Sadly while I write this review I can’t tell you how the food was. I placed a phone order and was told my food would be ready in 20 minutes. My wife and 1.5 year old daughter came with me to pick up the food. When I walked in I was not greeted I stood and waited and told the staff I had a to go order to pick up and they asked me what kind of taco I ordered because they didn’t get it over the phone apparently . Another customer ordered food at the counter and waited beside me. More customers came in and were seated and given food. I waited for an hour after asking the servers how much longer and they kept saying soon. I got fed up as the 1.5 year old hadn’t been fed by this time and asked for a refund. The server walked back to the kitchen and gave me no indication of what was happening. I asked another server for a refund and told what was going on l. They told me they would get the manager and just started helping other people and didn’t go speak to any other staff members or manager. I waited 20 minutes to be refunded. The manager came out finally with my food and I told him I didn’t want it I wanted my money and to leave he insisted I take the food and I declined while he made excuses for the negative experience saying they only had two cooks and were understaffed. I told him no the table right here came in after I had already waited 30 minutes in store and already had food. Very poor management. Unable to adequately handle a to go order. Other to go order waited the same amount of time and were still sitting waiting after I was refunded. Overall this experience took approximately 1.5 hours and my child fell asleep on the way to...
Read moreOne of the worst restaurant experiences in last 20 years. Starts when arriving. Need a handicapped marked spot as have spouse in a wheelchair. Restaurant employee is completely blocking entrance to space with personal vehicle. Parked 4 rows away and complained to manager who knew exactly whose car was blocking spot. When employee moved and pulled into handicapped spot, there was no way to maneuver wheelchair next to car as the 6 inch curb without ramp was next to passenger door. After precarious maneuvering, gotwheel chair next to car and literally pick up chair to get over curb. Went into restaurant to participate in Taco Tuesday. Both of us ordered iced teas. They were only caramel colored waters. My wife had hers taken back for water. One order of barbacoa beef on corn tortillas and one order of pork carnitas on flour tortillas. When arrived, a spoonfuls of meat on tortillas. No condiments of any kind to top off. The corn tortillas crumbled apart when picked up forcing to use a fork to eat. The carnitas, ordered with flour also came in error with corn tortillas. There was so much oil on the carnitas, it was running out of the tortillas and covering my hand in oil/grease. So much it created a pool of oil on my plate. The noise level in the restaurant was so loud, we had to yell at each other just to carry on a conversation. Even the waiter could not hear us when we first ordered our food. This was our first time here. We will...
Read moreA little long but worth the read, I promise… Not sponsored or influenced and just a little biased, but don’t sleep on this restaurant. There is unfortunately a great disservice going on in a few of these reviews. I’m not a big review guy and you can see that by my profile. However, this is one of the best Mexican restaurants in northern Colorado. We dine here with family at least twice a month and the service, drinks, and food are always amazing. This is also coming from a family who eats Mexican food a lot, and has also worked at a couple of the well known Mexican restaurants in Greeley. I tend to order something new every time, and everything I’ve tried is fantastic. A few little tips for the newcomers that are hungry, get the Relleno Burrito. If not as hungry get the Birria Tacos or a Combo Plate (the Crispy Rellenos are always awesome). Want to share get the Fajitas. If you’re into spicy get the Camarones A La Diabla (arguably my favorite). The pricing is comparable to any other restaurants in the area and arguably the portions are plenty generous. Most importantly, if you really want to enjoy, get to know the team here. They’ll treat you like family and you’ll never be...
