Casey’s Pizza
One and done! With all the hoopla about Casey’s Pizza coming to the area, I was excited.
I ordered online to the Sevierville TN location at the corner of Winfield Dunn Pkwy and Boyd’s Creek Hwy.
When I arrived to pick up my pizza the pizza maker told me it was about ready, had to slice it and box it, handed me my order slip so I could pay for it while waiting. I said, don’t slice my pizza.
While at the checkout counter she brought me the pizza. I said, you didn’t slice it did you? Yes, she replied, I thought you were kidding.😖
I handed her my order slip which clearly states “”Do Not Slice “. She apologized saying she didn’t see that and offered to make another one. I don’t have another 20-minutes madam was my reply. Just tell me you didn’t do it in squares? Yes, was her reply 🤬
For the life of me, I don’t know why pizza places think people want square pizza instead of a traditional 🍕 See, even 🍕 emoji’s are 🍕 shaped! Nothing square Casey’s. Even the 🍕 slices in your service case are pie shaped, duh.
There’s absolutely no reason for cutting one large pizza into squares for a “party cut”!
So, Casey’s offers the choices of pie sliced (which they call “regular“ slice), square sliced, or do not slice. I chose the latter for my order🤷
We like our pizza crust a little more done than most, having the pizza uncut allows us to slip it into the oven at home for...
Read moreThis gas station has always been a little iffy, but today took the cake. Pizza in a BAG is about the most white trash thing I’ve ever witnessed. The other Casey’s don’t do this, so why so cheap? I did not appreciate not having a closed container for my messy food. Easily slid out of the bag and into my car floorboard as I pulled onto the street.. waste of money and time. It’s a bit ridiculous that you all are apparently too cheap for cardboard boxes. 🤦♀️ to the point people have to shove a flimsy piece of paper (under the pizza) into a plastic bag, very similar to the ones I use to pick my dog’s feces up… This is absolutely disgraceful and embarrassing; especially being on the main strip going into town. Way to show the outsiders that we don’t fit the stupid Tennessean...
