Wow, so a terrible experience at Hardee's this morning. They used to have poor management but they really came around this past year and I have been going pretty regularly, I always chat with the employees, tip when I can, and I'm always polite, customer service has always been great and so has the food, not at all the case this morning. I arrive on my motorcycle to pick up food for the family this morning and the dining room is closed, there is only one car in the lot so I assume there had been call offs or similar. I go to the drive through and they are open. I begin placing my order and as soon as I finish my first item, biscuits n gravy combo with apple juice, the lady gives me my price, I politely tell her I have more items and finish my order which was a sausage biscuit and a cup of gravy. I pull up to the window and she hands me an orange juice, I politely tell her sorry I asked for an apple juice. She very rudely tells ME "no you said orange juice" and then proceeds to change it for me, first off where do you get off as to telling me what I said. I ignored this and did not say anything in retaliation despite the fact that it was extremely rude and condescending. She takes another order and when she finishes I ask if it was just her today simply out of curiosity as the dining room was closed and there was only one car, and obviously she was not having a good morning, I was just inquiring. She snaps back in a very snappy time and says "what does that have to do with the price of milk?!" And I was very confused as I had no idea what she was talking about. I said what and she repeated herself and I said "I was just asking out of curiosity" she proceeded to tell me that "no you weren't" and implying that I meant something much more than just asking what I did, the only thing I can imagine is the cost of milk and her taking extra charge? But that doesn't make sense to me and I really have no idea why she came up with that's why I asked if she was the only one. I told her I come in all the time and everyone, including her has always been nice and I'm sorry if she's having a bad day. She proceeded to tell me no that I was the problem and if I didn't like it I can take my food or get a refund. I said just give me a refund, she ignored this and handed me my food. I didn't bother saying anything because I was not trying to push the issue more. Again being on my motorcycle I had to put my food in my bike and put my helmet on, she came to the window and said "are you just going to hold everyone up or can we keep it moving here" it took me all of 30 seconds to do all of that. I will certainly not be returning to this store and this lady is always the one working the window on a morning shift. And I will certainly be comparing to corporate. I asked for her name and she said "what's YOUR name?" I told her and she proceeded to tell me something that I could barely hear due to my helmet being on, but was certainly more than just a name. I understand having a bad day, but this was really an absurd attitude and loss of composure from this employee with no need. None of this is verbatim and there was more said but the jist of the story is as stated. I hope others haven't received...
Read more3rd time was not the charm I was looking for.
Just as it seems, I've been here 3x while passing through the area, and this will probably be the last.
Literally every single time I've been there, all the workers seem as though they're ready to lose it and act like they are annoyed that you're ordering. Now I understand working in fast food isn't great. But it's a job. I've been there. The thing is, we're all coming there for a certain thing, and when the experience is bad(yes it's just fast food), it makes us/me not even want to come back.
I don't know what needs to change there, maybe management? I don't really care if you hate it there or not, put on a smile and put out good customer service, and you might even like your job more.. Chick-fil-A is fast food too, right? Yet the customer service there is literally phenomenal! Step it up honestly..
If you don't like where you work, please find a different job. You won't regret it!
The biscuits are the bees knees here. That's why I at least...
Read moreMy husband and i drive truck over the 48 states. Today we stopped for lunch at this Hardee's location. Which is different we usually just make food in our truck.. I wish I would have gotten there names. There wasa lady working the front counter and a guy making food. They were running crazy working g the restaurant by themselves . I use to manage a couple different fast foods places so I know how it is . These two are amazing 👏 we got better service and food and customer service then most places fully staffed. I felt really bad for these two. No one wants to work anymore. But how is it fair these two doing the job of several people and not being compensated for it .I really hope there hard work and dedication doesn't go without notice. Way to go you two . I really hope these two see this. Thanks for the ain't hamburger for our chihuahua. Some places won't let us by one for our dog. We visited this store at approximately 5 pm on Monday the 6th...
