I have been going to this DQ for over 25 years. It was once a great place for hot food and cold ice cream. Well, that time has definitely passed.
When you have only a single line of cars in the drive thru and only myself inside ordering food to go, you would think you would be able to get orders out before my ice cream (which they made way to early) melted or the ice in my drinks became watered down.
Out of the 8 or 9 employees working behind the counter, only two were working in the "grill" section. Two employees were running the drive thru, of which they consistently had they masks down making sure they stay hydrated. One was running the front register (that basically had nothing to do because no one was walking in to order) and three running the ice cream section. When ice cream was ordered, it was made way, WAY before the hot food was done which most likely resulted in a cup of sugar milk.
And even after waiting 10 minutes for my food (which was mostly cold because they forgot to put chicken tenders down in the fryer), they still managed to forget part of my son's kid meal.
I enjoy DQ's hot food and cold treats, but this franchise is far from representing them in a great light. I will not be visiting this...
Read moreI want to write you to make you aware of a concern I had while visiting your restaurant on 3/20/2013, at 7:39PM. My family and I came into the restaurant to grab dinner since our children had a school function that ran a bit late. While the store itself looked clean, the crew habits were appalling! I noticed a ServSafe Certification on the wall, which was a joke. None of the crew to include the assistant manager had gloves on while preparing the food. The sandwich maker had a beard (no beard guard), all of the crew-members were touching their face constantly and wiping their nose. Did they wash their hands? No! Another, issue I encountered was the sandwich maker pulling the frozen raw meat patties, and then going straight to the buns and prepping the sandwiches! No gloves and no hand washing! I don’t know who the person is that is food safety certified, but they should not work in food service. Its obvious that they did not take the information and TEACH the crew! In this day in age I find it ridiculous that a manager be working and not be leading by example. I would find leaders to run this location...
Read moreLocal guide here. Not sure what happened to this location. Drive thru person seemed irritable when I asked if Pumpkin Blizzards were sold out. She said they would not be getting them back. We asked for a Reese’s Blizzard instead and got a watery blizzard. Asked for (2) chocolate kids cups with sprinkles, got vanilla in stead. This wasn’t the first awful experience, it’s what you get when the folks taking the order aren’t listening or don’t care. We never said anything honestly because when the young girl handed us the wrong flavored kids cups and I advised her they weren’t correct, it appeared the store manager was standing two feet away and could hear the conversation. She was standing right there and if she bothered to care she would have chimed in or ask if everything was okay but she didn’t. I knew at that moment it doesn’t matter so I gave my kids vanilla even though they asked for chocolate. Listen to the other reviewers and avoid this location. We won’t...
