Hot Grill & Pizza — Restaurant in Seymour

Shout out to Hot Grill & Pizza on rte 67. I ordered a large White Florentine Pizza close to closing time last night. When I picked it up I was greeted by a very pleasant man (owner?). When I received my (rather large amount of) change I put it in my pocket and headed home with the pizza and sodas. Well, when I got home I didn't have the $$ in my pocket. I was so upset.  I called but no answer so I figured they'd closed for the night. We headed back there and my son called again on the way. Lo and behold the man answered the phone. The predicament was explained and he checked their floor. Nothing. Then he asked where I had parked, he went outside and FOUND the $$! When I arrived for it, he would not accept the "thank you" money I offered, saying "Oh no I can't accept that. Just doing my job. Enjoy your pizza and have a good night." I left with a great feeling, and we did thoroughly enjoy the delicious pizza. That was my first time ordering from Hot Grill & Pizza but it's surely not my last. Thank you...

I placed an order for a side of meatballs, a side of sausage and Buffalo wings. It came to $31 and I specifically said at least two or three times, I do not want it delivered before 6 PM. I had my personal reasons. I called them back when my order came 20 minutes earlier. I said I just placed my order at 5:28 and it was here 15 minutes just 15 minutes after I ordered it. they made one excuse after another everybody blaming one another and then the guy stating that well if you want it for 6 o’clock, I will make it now and personally bring it to you. I said I don’t want that. I don’t want another meal. I told him just give me five dollar credit because, it was the principle of the matter. He refused and said I am not giving you money towards anything. I said well then I am not gonna come there anymore. I’m not gonna order from you when I’m a good customer and he could care less and simple then don’t order from us anymore. That is not the way you’re on a...

These guys service is by far worst service ever rendered , not only will they deliver food using older products such as cheese , got a pizza delivered to me along a steak and cheese but had such a foul odor as if they used old cheese , got it delivered right before they were closing which I appreciated , but once food here I called back no answer , obviously they were already closed reason why no one answered , called the next day and owner was acting as if I wanted free food or scamming him , let me remind you I still had ALL of the food next day ready to return , i explain to him what had happened and he kept asking why I didn’t call back , again they were closed !!!!!! , this guy not only not willing to accept his error instead chose to continue asking stupid questions , he knows what he did , and may god bless him but PLEASE THINK ABOUT IT TWICE BEFORE ORDERING FROM THIS PLACE...
