So when I walked in I stood there ready to be seated. A girl with long curly hair walked up to me with the oddest look on her face and looked at us like we just walked in to her house. She waited a couple seconds then asked us if it was just the two of us. Then told us to follow her. Then she took us to are table. Once we got to are table it took 10 minutes to get a drink order then an other 10 to get a coke and a water brought back. So after that it took an other 10 or so minutes to get are order taken I ordered a burrito and my girl ordered Fajitas. That took 40 minutes to get my food was cold and her so called sizzling fajitas came out cold I said should they not be sizzling so they took it back and brought it out sizzling by that time I was feed up they where not even busy so I said nicely that we don’t want none of the food that I’ll pay for the drinks so I heard them being pretty rude about it in the kitchen she said the manager looked at the ticket time and it wasn’t that long of a wait and I told her we have been here for an hour but the whole point of the matter was service was bad and the food was ice cold what does the ticket time have to do with the food being cold and to top it off the manager didn’t even come out to try and make anything right never again was really hoping for a good meal...
Read moreI ordered through uber eats and that wasn't a problem. I got SIZZLING fajitas and when I looked at my order the fajita "juice" was all over the bag and the plastic container that it was in, was the type used for salads, not hot items. When I called them, I explained everything and said I can't eat this , there's plastic in my food. Melted plastic that looks like cooked onions. The girl on the phone said, "We've been using those containers for 9 years and never had a problem. Your Uber Driver probably dropped it." (Interesting if it was dropped why were the quesadillas on the bottom in tact along with the beans and rice? hmmm) At which point I hung up. I'm not looking for an argument or debate. It is what it is. That was poor customer service even if it was the Uber Drivers fault. (Which I doubt because you shouldn't be putting sizzling fajitas in a salad container that is not made to withstand such temperatures.) You don't sit there and try to contradict a customer with poor statements. You work with them to solve things. Had said person on the phone actually worked anywhere for 9 years they probably would have handled it better. Too bad, because that food looked and smelled really good, but I'm not a huge fan of eating plastic, not to mention all the chemicals that probably leached into my food...
Read moreEdit: this visit was from over a few years ago, not sure if things have changed, I just wanted to fix typos and it posted as a recent review.
tl;dr Overall, service was great, food was terrible, management was non-existent
My wife and I were in the mood for Mexican and decided to grab lunch at Hot Tamale. We started with drinks and ordered two pina colodas. Unfortunately they were out of something and unable to make them. No big deal. I ordered a steak burrito with mole sauce. Waitress came back, "no mole sauce." Ok. When the burrito came out the inside was dry, cold, bland and the steak was burnt. Since lunch was a bust, figured I'd try to make up for it with a tasty dessert. I ordered the apple empinada. Waitress came back, "all out of apple empinadas." Ordered the churros and fried ice cream. The churros tasted burnt on the outside and under cooked inside. The fried ice cream cream was underwhelming. The waitress was great and very apologetic. I actually felt embarrassed for her that she had to keep returning to tell us they were out of this or that. Not once did we see or hear from...
