Starbucks — Restaurant in Seymour

Place was not busy when we arrived but did get steadier as we sat down after receiving our order. While the service was quick what bothered me was the fact that the tables needed to be cleaned off and floor swept. No tables were cleaned while we we there for 30 minutes. I understand things get busy but this is something that should be addressed at some point. First impression are critical in any business. As this was my first time at this branch I was a little disappointed with this lack of cleanliness. I may go back ....I may not because of this. Employees were friendly but maybe they were understaffed or just had a crazy onslaught of customers but this was just my snippet of a small frame of time at this branch so I could easily be wrong. I decided to grab some tea during lunch one day and the employees were more interested in talking than actually working. They did the bare minimum to get the job done. The guy at the register couldn't be less interested in taking my order. It was almost like I wasn't there. I'm not really interested in conversation but in that position, you can at least put on a friendly face instead of an annoyed one. Then, the girl making my iced tea lemonade couldn't even be bothered to shake up my drink. In every Starbucks that I've been to the person making my iced tea, puts the tea, lemonade and ice in a mixing cup, shakes it up and it ends up being nice and cold on the first sip. Thank you to the employee who made my day! I have a tendency to get a smidge overwhelmed when ordering at the drive-through , you could hear the smile in his voice when he told me to take as much time as I needed.

I frantically picked something and he was super apologetic and said they were out of stock on an item to make it. He started to offer an alternative and I just asked him to make me something, anything. Just surprise me, I need caffeine.
