Taqueria La Mejor — Restaurant in Seymour

Very very bad service the guy waiter found it funny while i was placing my order along with my son and husbands orders. I asked for a Quesadilla with chicken onion and cilantro inside which i also asked if it came with rice and beans and i was told with eyes being rolled Yes. Hubby and i ordered the fajita mix. Didn't get any tortillas he slammed our plates on table just rude. We also asked&j&&& for a side of Guacamole my husband asked what comes in it we were told onion tomatoe cilantro. All we got was mashed avacados with onion cilantro... My sons quesadilla wasnt even cooked it was soggy and he had a pile of lettuce with pico de gallo on his plate no onion or cilantro inside his quesadilla, when the guy put his plate down he said i put pico on the side if he even eats it??????? Then i asked where his beans and rice where? He stated he told me it didnt come with that only q salad. I told him i specifically ordered the quesadilla because you said it came with a side of rice and beans. He walked away. I walked to the back and asked to speak to a manager i was first told there was no one i could speak to . then another older rude man came out and asked what the problem was when i told him he was like so whats the issue ? I told him the issue was my order was completely wrong. The waiter ran up to where i was standing yelling at me and shaking his hand that he told me it came with a salad. The staff were very rude and i feel i was discriminated against. And im mexican and my husband is puerto rican and everytime he asked for something the guy acted like he didnt understand him. Smh we will never go back...

Taqueria Lemejor is an awesome Hispanic market that offers a great variety of goods at great prices! I regularly go to Lemejor for produce, as the quality is just a level above other local grocery stores. Not only is the produce generally better, the prices are extremely fair. I've never taken the opportunity to order from the butcher counter, but the staff is very friendly and greet me when I pass by. As a novice Spanish speaker, it can be intimidating shopping where you don't know the language. However, I've never had a bad experience and I've had some of the friendliest service here regardless of any language barrier. Please note, that any purchase here under $10 is cash only. Purchases over $10 can be paid for with debit/credit. I've also had dinner here before and it was also delicious! I wish I had the opportunity to drink some alcohol here, but I always have to drive. I came in for the 3rd time and still had terrible service. When I ordered my strawberry margarita, my waitress told me they didn't have strawberry at the moment . I was ok and said a regular on the rocks was fine, she asked me 3 times what kind I wanted and I had to repeat myself. When I received my drink there was an excessive amount of salt in the drink and around the rim. I downed the drink even though I didn't enjoy it . So I asked for a beer and waited for her to come back to recieve my order; I waited 20 min for her! She was eating! Also I assumed her significant other was there talking to her because she was talking to him as well. When I did order my food ,she made it to go for some reason, She pointed out on the counter and said you're food is ready. I said can I get the check and could she break a 20 for me.
