Updated review: This branch is consistently late in delivering pizza. Tracker system doesn’t work. They lied in the text updates stating that driver is pulling up at 7:19 pm but he actually didn’t show up until after 8 pm. Order was originally placed 6:53 pm. In the prior experience, Domino’s App says pizza delivered but I never received it. I called the local store at 890 Butler Street Pittsburgh PA 15223 and they handled it very unprofessionally. First, she said it is common for the app to say pizza delivered when the pizza has not been delivered due to “GPS problem”. After that she said the driver will call you in a few minutes. I waited outside for 30 minutes and no one has ever called me. The delivery time promised in the email that Dominos sent was 41 to 51 minutes. I waited for over an hour, and I never received my pizza. I called the store again and she didn’t know what to do she eventually said keep waiting the driver will call you. I told her this is ridiculous. Your driver never called me back. I don’t appreciate being lied to. Why do you give false assurance to the customer!? No supervisor is available to handle this. After waiting for 90 minutes finally driver shows up with cold pizza. I encourage everyone to report this store to corporate to have their delivery system fixed and to stop lying to customers.

I placed an order with this Domino’s location on May 15, 2025, and was shocked to receive an expired food item. When I contacted the store, I was told only the manager could issue a refund—but he was out of town. I followed up several times, and each time I was given the same excuse: “The manager is still out of town, and nothing can be done.” Not only was it completely unacceptable to be served expired food, but the store’s lack of urgency and accountability made the situation even worse. There was no effort to make it right, no alternative solution offered, and no sense of customer care. Extremely disappointed. I won’t be ordering from this location again, and I hope management takes this seriously before someone gets sick.

I waited well over an hour for a very cold pizza. I opened the box and it had the absolute least amount of toppings I've ever seen, little sauce and wilted veggies. I've never left a single star on any pizza place, but the employees need to step it up. They showed up incredibly late, almost two hours after placing the order, forgot the sauces, and made excuses when I called the first time, telling me it was on the way. I understand if it's a game day, they're busy, etc etc, but they shouldn't cut corners on quality. Maybe hire some people who actually know about pizza. If you value your pies, turn your sights elsewhere.

Do not order from here. First time was awful. Gave it a second try thinking the first time couldn’t be as bad. I was wrong.

I followed the tracker and was notified that my delivery driver “Vinay” arrived in my area when in reality they were on 28 headed back to their restaurant. That’s fine, maybe just an early track? No. They sat in the parking lot of their restaurant for 20 minutes before the tracker vanished and I was notified that my order was ready. What? I check for food outside, and see nothing. I immediately called the store in which I was greeted with an automated message claiming my order was already delivered. Double what? Finally got through to a real person who was very quick to tell me the delivery driver was on his way. I asked for confirmation of his name and she answered with “I don’t know his name, your order is on the way.” I tried explaining the whole story and I just kept getting interrupted by the lady over the phone. She just repeatedly told me the delivery driver is on his way now. This is exactly what happened the first time, and that alone took 2 hours to receive my pizza. Mind you, I live 8 minutes away. Whatever is happening in that establishment is not good.

Update almost 2 hours after delivery placed I was in the middle of chatting with customer support when suddenly the delivery driver pulled up. I met him halfway, and thanked him, just wanting to keep the interaction short. He then asks me “would you like to leave a tip ma’am?” What. Like. What? I said “excuse me?” And he repeated himself. I told him I tipped in the app and walked away. I am baffled. It’s one thing to even ask for a tip, it’s another to ask for one after TERRIBLE service. I hate complaining. I work in the service industry. I deal with critics everyday. But this was insane.

Also? The cherry on top of all of this? The pizza I ordered was completely wrong. I’m talking incorrect and random toppings. COVERED in some type of seasoning. And the breadstick bites box was leaking all over the...

I made a mistake of ordering pizza here yesterday just because I was close by and thought it would be fast! I arrived there based on the tracker that said it's ready. I saw them taking it out, and although they asked my name before they didn't say anything. When I asked they said the pizza was damaged and they are going to make it again which will be few minutes! After 5 minutes I heard the girl asking the other one about the toppings, so it was when they just started making it. After 15 minutes they took it out of oven and I could see it's not new york style! Then they came and gave it to me and said sorry we forgot to put the steak on it!!! At this point I asked for refund but the guy who just came in said we will make it again. I asked for refund but they didn't want to refund and said you can have this as complementary!! I had a toddler with me who was waiting for pizza! So I said OK I'll wait. Then again after another 15 minutes they gave me the order, which since they rushed they put a lot of sauce and the crust was too soggy that even the box was wet! Which I had a slice and my stomach hurts after a few hours. I was there for about 40 minutes and they couldn't make a single order right. There were two other ladies that had the same issue and had to wait 20 minutes or so to get their orders that was supposed to be ready when they got to store! Besides, one of the girls didn't have gloves and was touching all the surfaces and the food at the same time. And the guy who was the deliver and manager just came in from delivery and started touching the food! I will never ever again...
