Everyone was very nice and polite. They also explained what they had and how it tasted and let us tasted a few we was interested in getting. Very clean and the employees were very helpful. So I thought I'd try out the custard here. I got a concrete (aka their version of a DQ blizzard) with vanilla custard and Oreo pieces and cookie dough. The custard was good on its own, but the concrete was disappointing. They only offered it in one size cup that seemed small to me, and it was blended poorly. The top portion of the cup was mostly custard and lacking blended toppings. The bottom had some Oreo pieces and cookie dough blended in. Wish it was more evenly blended. Great ice cream! We also ordered some lemon Italian ice. Not as flavorful as real Italian "granita", but still pretty good. The one thing that we found disappointing was the order of the 5-layer gelato; we figured the lady serving us would keep the lemon Italian ice apart from the chocolate custard so as to not taste lemon in the chocolate, and she did the opposite. Make sure you make it clear how you want your Italian ice and custard layered before ordering if you want them separated...
