Lemon Rose Play Cafe — Restaurant in Shallotte

Fun, Fun, FUN!!! Great place to bring the kids or grandkids on a rainy day, hot day, sunny day, cold day… literally ANY day. It’s a perfect hangout spot for lazy days where organizing a whole beach outing for little ones seems too daunting (and, let’s be honest, exhausting). Reasonable pricing with SO much for kiddos to play with. Great location- super easy drive from Ocean Isle Beach, Sunset Beach, and Shallotte. We’re fortunate to be close, but would definitely be worth a longer drive as well! My kiddos have SO much fun coming here. They always make new friends and literally beg all the time to go play at LemonRose. I could see how the play cafe would be the highlight of Ocean Isle Beach for kids here on vacation! The locals sure are lucky to have such a gem in their town :)

Love the concept of the cafe and Sophia has the yummiest drinks~ would even swing by just to grab a coffee or one of her fun fruity drinks (extra whip, of course). One huge bonus is that you can either use the time at LemonRose as a parent to be social and talk with the other parents in the cafe, OR you can kick back in one of the chairs and read a book, catch up on work, watch a movie on your phone, or take a nap haha- LemonRose is a special haven for kids, parents, and...

We've been going to Lemon Rose since their Grand Opening in October. It's fun for the kids and great place for us parents to relax and have a cup of coffee and meet other parents. Ashley and Josh have put so much time and effort into making sure that LR is a safe, fun, and clean environment for the kids to play and learn in. We have taken advantage of their other offerings such as parents night out and holiday events. We had our daughters birthday here as well. It made the day easier for us because we could relax and enjoy ourselves instead of worrying about the clean up or finding things to keep the kids entertained with....

LemonRose play cafe is one of our favorite things about Ocean Isle Beach! Our almost 2 year old daughter absolutely ADORES coming to play and she has made so many friends. There’s a great age range of kiddos who come to play and provides a beautiful environment for creating, exploring, and of course, lots of smiles! Ashley and Josh are always super welcoming and do such an amazing job making both kids and parents feel welcomed and at home :) We couldn’t ask for a better place to come play and relax. We love love LOVE LemonRose!
