You can say a lot about how a place handles things once they send you the perfect item and everything works great. But when you spend a bunch of dough and they send u something and then there is a problem often times places forget they ever did biz with you. Its the net right? Its just a big black hole you send you money into. But that's not the case with The GPS Store. I had a problem with one of the items they sent me as the manufacturer of the item Built a flaw into the item. Callie at the GPS Store arranged for a new item to be sent to me right away and when that item had the same problem she got on the horn with the manufacturer and told them they gotta make this right. The manufacturer of the item stepped up to the plate and when I had difficulty reaching the manufacturer Callie (The GPS Store) was on the horn with them immedietly telling them that they need to take care of her customer (me). Well they jumped when she called them. And they jumped very high !!!! So nice calling The GPS Store. Everyone speaks English and they provide answers fast and back up their product. U don't have to worry when u send a bunch of money into the deep dark hole (the internet) to the GPS Store. They have your back !!!!! And Callie at the store ROCKS !!!! Trust me..... Sending a bunch of dough to the dark hole is scarey. This place I will always use in the future for all things marine electronics or otherwise...

Sadly, UPS store lost.. well lost is the wrong word. More they gave it so some random person and never even bothered to try delivering it to my address. After dealing with UPS reached out to the shipper (GPS Store) and everyone was very eager and friendly to help me figure out the next steps and options GPS Store could do to help me get the Dashcam I ordered.
Thankfully, keeping in touch with them through the day found out UPS did managed to locate 'where' they dropped it off to and delivered it early morning the following day to my land lord (told UPS if recovered to give it to the land lord - thankfully). Updating GPS store staff that it was found and undamaged we all breathed a sigh of relief.
Few companies really care enough to help a customer when the delivery company loses a package intentional or not. More than not they will become unavailable or make you wait till the case is resolved and they get refunded, etc.
GPS store showed me that there are still companies that take pride in customer service and support as they offered to get a replacement out as soon as they knew what UPS's official verdict on my package was.
Recommend them definitely as a source for supplies if they carry what your after!
Sometimes when shopping online its the real gems you have to find and never let go of.

   Read moreI purchased a Garmin radar and GPSmap 741xs from the GPS Store. I installed the radar and 741xs. The new 741xs would not start. I confirmed the install was correct and the voltage was correct to the control unit.
I contacted Garmin and did not get any satisfaction. Basically Garmin offered to send me a reconditioned 741xs. There were conversations involving date of purchase and other issues but basically no support. I was left with a bad taste in my mouth after dealing with Garmin and will remember the bad attitude and indifference when I make my next electronic purchases.
I contacted The GPS Store and talked to Scott. I explained the issue with the 741xs. I explained that my install was on my boat in Boothville LA and I was calling from my home in Arkansas. I explained that Garmin's position was to send me a reconditioned unit and I did not accept a reconditioned unit as the correct problem resolution because the new unit was bad out of the box.
Scott asked me to send the defective 741xs to the GPS Store. Scott sent me a new unit to my Louisiana address. I traveled back to fish camp and successfully completed the radar installation with the new 741xs.
Scott demonstrated outstanding customer service and resolved my problem. I will continue purchasing my electronics from the GPS Store because of this outstanding customer support and care.
