The Ice Cream Shoppe — Restaurant in North Carolina

I love this place. So many unique flavors (many of them Sweet-Flavorly inspired, and I think they make them themselves) and you can get any of them to go. The Owner id patient, and if you’re new, don’t be shy to ask for more samples of the different flavors, but I’m sure you’ll find the one pretty quickly! The Ice Cream Shoppe has the BEST sweet ice cream I have ever had. Highly recommend. If sweet isn't your jam, they have a ton of other flavors, both classic and unique... Love a good quality homemade ice cream and this is about as close and you can get without actually making it at home. Fun location and vibe. Even at late night people we're going in for ice cream, but no line really. Someone on Yelp recommended the chocolate ice cream and that’s what I was really wanting to get so I did, but it ended up being soooooo chocolatey (didn’t even think that was possible) that I could barely eat it. I had whipped topping on it thank goodness because that toned it down a little bit. If I do order the chocolate again I’ll probably have them tone it down with vanilla or extra cream or something. My family actually visited this ice cream shop during the summer of 2022. It was fantastic! The service was excellent and patient with my crazy group of 10 that stopped in and the ice cream top notch. The best banana split I've had in years. It was so good we came back the next night and got the same thing.
