The Island Art & Book store is really an amazing place. So many different types of paintings and pictures that really tell a story about how beautiful and pleasant this side of NC truly is. But, then there are the books. Oh boy, what a selection. Local books on the past and present of all the beaches in the area. Also, books on many other topics, sea life, turtles, cooking, drinks you name it's there. Let's not forget the beautiful sea art jewelry that they sell. So beautiful and nice I must say. If you're looking for a unique gift for someone this is the go to place. Take time to look at the old map prints they have for sale as well. Everything in this store tells a story. Well, being that it is pretty much the only real book store left in town, it's a great place to shop. I know physical books aren't as popular as they have been in the past, but I still prefer the feel of a real book when I'm reading. The store is well stocked and clean.
