Today was my last straw with country club cafe. It's a shame because the food is amazing (when they at least have all the ingredients in stock). There are a few young gals that work there that have clearly had no training in customer service. They're always unfriendly and have no smile on their face. They make you feel like you're wasting their time. Never even a "have a good day" from them. One time I walked in and had no greeting, a young girl was standing over the counter on her phone. I walked up to the counter and she still was on her phone. I could clearly see she was finishing up a text. Finally, she put her phone down and didn't apologize for my wait and just said, "what can I get for you?" That was months ago, but at this point I'm so fed up with the customer service that I keep getting which is why I'm writing this just now. Several times they have been out of stock of things I went on the menu. If you want one of the grilled items on the menu, they won't grill it for you 30 minutes before close. I find that ridiculous because it is on the menu and you should make it the way it says on the menu during ALL business hours. There is an older woman there and I find that it is obvious when regular customers come in by the way she treats them versus other customers who may not go there often like myself. She makes me feel like I am not a valued customer. You should treat all customers the same. I'm over this place and the rude customer service. Too bad the people that work there are rude because they really do have good food, just don't expect good quality...
Read moreThis coffee shop is such a gem that if you weren’t looking you would almost miss it. There’s ample indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee is very good and the baristas are friendly. The barista who served us was very friendly and was able to answer questions well. She also brought us our coffee which was very kind and personal compared to your name just being called out (not that that’s bad but it definitely made this place stand out). For coffee I had one of the summer beverages: a coconut vanilla latte. I asked the barista if she’d cut the syrup in half so it wasn’t too sweet. It was a very interesting coffee flavor—I enjoy coconut on the regular but had never had it with coffee. I was glad I got the half dose of syrup because it was just the right tinge of coconut and vanilla, I think if I would have got the full amount it would have been extra sweet. Overall I love this little shop and plan to spend more of my free...
Read moreI stood at the counter for a few minutes while being in site of the two girls in the kitchen who didn’t want to acknowledge me. Finally one came out and I ordered a sandwich. The look she gave me was like I was putting her out and was irritated. She did not ask me if I wanted chips or a drink with this sandwich. I waited over 10 minutes for my sandwich to be made. I didn’t even get a thank you when she brought the large styrofoam box out to me, all I got was if I needed utensils. I was really expecting a nice big sandwich I could share with a coworker for almost $10. I thought the box was pretty light when I was carrying it out to my car. Needless to say, I didn’t need a large box for this sandwich as it was tiny. 🤬 So much for patronizing this small business. I...
