I frequently visit, and most of the staff are very personable, and friendly, and I absolutely recommend and love this place however... I post this with the hope that the 2 gentlemen that are frequently rude and obviously bothered by my presence will read this and know people see them.
The dark haired Gentleman that usually works the quickstop, wears a green shirt and is obviously much more important than you, is honestly one of the biggest doushebags I have ever met. (This is one encounter to prove my point. There have been at least three that've left me fuming with the same guy behind the counter.) I ask him if they'd bring in a 2 liter of mountain dew because I'm a usual and I'd buy it if so, considering the 2 liters they do carry seem to be strictly mixers (guess what, a lot of people that drink use mountain dew) I'd personally rather not buy 3 cans of dew when I could buy a bottle, and I simply ask if they had ever carried it. I ask this question to the guy mentioned earlier and he replied "Do you see it...?" I didn't which is why I asked if they've ever carried it, so I say no. He then replies "Then we dont." And dosent say another word because clearly i inconvenienced the 20 minute bathroom break required to keep his stone solid hair in place. So if you read this, green shirt guy... shove it real hard. Karma is an unstable force and I wish you luck.
The other guy works on the liquor side and shares similar feelings apparently. If the football game is on, I hope you know how to work the register.... cause it'll be a minute... If he even looks up from...
Read moreIâve been a customer at K7 Liquors for several years, but after tonight, I wonât be returning.
This evening, my wife and I stopped by to pick up a few beverages. She went to one side of the store to browse for wine while I looked at beer on the other side. While she was shopping, one of the young employeesâapparently suspecting her of shopliftingâcalled out, âBilly, hey, do we sell rubbers here?â to which he replied, âNot unless theyâre expired,â as both of them approached her.
We now understand that âdo we sell rubbersâ is likely some kind of store code for a suspected shoplifter. I didnât realize what had happened until we got back to the car and my wife explained it to me. Itâs probably a good thing I didnât catch it in the moment.
We both feel humiliated and deeply disappointed by how she was treated. This kind of behavior is completely inappropriate and offensive. Fortunately, there are plenty of other places we can take our business, and we certainly will...
Read moreI used to be a great customer for this liquor store, but they lost my business tonight. Went in to buy a bottle of John Chester Ross & Sons, small batch KC Whisky. It's in a glass case...not on the shelf. I asked the cashier for a bottle and she told me I had to be a rewards member, AND....had to have something like 600 rewards points to be able to buy it!! It's a $79 bottle....not a $400 bottle of scotch. She said it's rare and hard to find....so it's for reward members only. I drove 5 miles away to Gomers and walked out with the same thing for $74....even less. It was NOT very hard to find. Offer a discount for reward members or something.....but to refuse to sell it to me.... GOOD BYE. Too many other great liquor stores close by. Bad...
