Upon seeking a venue for a casual meal and a game of darts, a friend and I stumbled upon Knub’s Pub through a Google search, enticed by an older photo showcasing a dartboard. Despite discovering the board had been removed several years prior, we decided to give the place a try, drawn in by its collection of pinball machines. The staff exuded warmth and hospitality, adding to the establishment's cozy, hometown pub ambiance. While awaiting our table, we indulged in some classic pinball entertainment. The interior boasted predominantly booth-style seating, each equipped with its own TV and satellite box, fostering a personalized experience. We made plans to return for fight nights and Chiefs games, impressed by the atmosphere. Our meals, a Philly sandwich and a Beef’N Tater sandwich with fries, were served with the expected attention to detail, complementing the pub's vibe. Accompanied by their house-made steak and BBQ sauces, which were delightful additions, our dining experience was thoroughly satisfying. Website said open til 10:00. Went in at 9:00 was seated and placed an order. At 9:07 our waitress informed us that the kitchen was closed at 9:00. Never again Knubs…..

Quick edit to answer question about hours, I did not see kitchen hours anywhere. I was using Google Maps and driving north on K7 around 8:45 looking for somewhere to eat. I your place showed up on the app and we were pleased to see that the hours listed said 10:00 PM. I was relieved because no one wants to order food 10 minutes before a restaurant closes. We were greeted at the door and seated. As we were seated we passed several tables enjoying food. We were given menus, ordered drinks, placed our order, received our drinks and then a few minutes later our waitress come out to tell us we couldn't eat.

EDIT, Came back in due to a friends recommendation on a Saturday afternoon. Spoke with Cory and he again apologized for our service several months ago.

I came in because I got told they had the best wings in Kansas City. When I came in I wanted regular buffalo wings and the waitress talked me into getting a wing that was their specialty. Is not the best wings in Kansas City. I asked to try their specialty Wings before I bought it she says no you can only buy them in packages of 10 and 20. You get a discount if you buy them at 20. So I bought 10 of their specialty wings and 10 of the buffalo wings. Specialty wings are very mediocre buffalo wings were okay. When you buy them at 20 you get a discount. I asked for the discount they told me no that's only if you buy 20 of the same. I went to the bathroom came back and they had cleared my table. I said I wanted to take the rest of the Wings home. They told me they did not realize that I wanted to take them home. I had left 10 wings on the table. I left the waitress was really rude. Did not even thanked me for coming in. I called the next day they told me the manager was too busy to talk to me. I left my number never received a phone call it has now...
