Jays food — Restaurant in Sheboygan

I'm still thinking about how delicious the Indian food here was two days later. My colleague is currently eating her leftovers and I'm about to jump across the table and steal that plate of food. She says she could take me out, and I may just have to take that chance.

There's a small square on the menu that says Indian Food, with four items and a teasing, 'and more...' We asked what the 'and more...' meant and the incredibly kind owner (and cook?) pulled out a full menu of well-described Indian dishes. A few of us ordered dishes and did a group share until we couldn't fill our faces any more. Everything we ordered (Butter Chicken, Biryani, Cilantro/Serrano green korma, Naan, mango Lassi) was so good.

This place is also very clean and the women who work there are very friendly and helpful. Give yourself a bit of time for the delicious food to cook and then some time to savor your delicious meal. Go with others so you can order a few things and share and then maybe you can steal...

Need to know has the ownership changed? The Indian food here was fantastic until today. We could tell the recipes changed just by its appearance and the Indian food was pretty bad today. the naan was the same as always, which is great, but the curry and paneer was pretty bad; the flavor and consistency of the sauce was different and so was the chicken and cheese itself. Before this it's been amazing. The normal staff did not take our phone order and the normal staff was not there when we picked it up. We will place our order in person next time, but only if we can verify that this experience was not due to change of ownership but a fluke. Fingers crossed. Not sure how to rate the food; before today I would give 5 stars, but today I would give 1 or 2 stars, so I'm going with 3. Very...

We were a little skeptical of this place since it's small and right next to a gas station. But the food was absolutely incredible.

We felt a little weird in the dining room because we were the only customers there, there was no music (it was really quiet), and our food took about 20-30 minutes to cook after we ordered. But it was totally worth it. Our meal was fantastic!! The food is savory with the perfect amount of spice. The naan is buttery, soft, and slightly sweet. Definitely get naan with whatever you order!!

We will definitely be ordering again, but we might do to-go next time. This would be a great place to go for a relaxed meal with friends. We definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic, delicious...
