Cathy's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Sheffield Township

Went to go there today after walking the dogs. Pulled in at 8:31 ok they are closed, we went to pull into the parking lot to turn around and leave. An older gentleman with white hair came walking towards us shaking his finger yelling "oh no, uh-uh" we had the windows down and said that we were just trying to turn around to leave. He refused to listen and kept yelling at us. We continued to tell him that we were just trying to turn around and leave and he just continued to yell that they were closed.

We understand we got there late and we were just trying to turn the car around to leave and instead of an "okay" or anything decently respectable at all, or even an "I am sorry ladies but we are closed" we just get screamed at.

I will never be attempting to go there again.

Edit: I understand what you are saying (I wasn't the one driving. I do not think the person driving knew it was the exit. I tried telling her but it was too late.) Again, advancing on someone and immediately screaming at them really isn't the best way to approach that situation. I am not saying we were faultless but when you come at someone that aggressively when there was no aggression from us isn't really necessary, and why would that ever make someone want to go back? Of course Tofts ice cream is well known for its incredible flavors and taste. But for this particular shop I was not impressed. Now remind you I'm native to the town and familiar with Cathy's ice cream. My wife purchased a waffle cone with 2 hard scoops, me I ordered 2 hard scoops in a bowl. Now the difference that had me disappointed was my wife's cone the ice cream was double the amount that I received and the "Boss" said it goes by weight, I thought it went by scoop? The these kids these days don't know how to respond, like zombies, not much customer service training there. Soft ice cream is practically at every ice cream shop around now. You guys should really get on how big of a quantity of ice cream you serve especially with your prices,you have .
