After finishing work at night, I used to visit this place several times a week. However, as time goes on, the experience has significantly deteriorated. The quality of food and service that I once enjoyed is no longer there. Previously, there was a young lady who always served me whenever I visited. Out of respect, I don’t want to mispronounce her name, but I remember she always wore a headscarf. She was incredibly professional, avoided unnecessary talk, and clearly knew her job well. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen her there since December. Nowadays, the staff appear unprofessional and, at times, seem intoxicated or distracted. Some workers engage in unnecessary conversations, often fishing for tips. Two of the employees frequently talk about their personal struggles, seeking attention in a way that feels inappropriate. Moreover, they often get my order wrong, the food is consistently undercooked, and the sauces are insufficient. I REALLY liked they make their own sauces. We had a little bit of a wait (we went inside to eat), but it was worth it, as everything was hot and fresh (including the fries). The staff has personality, just like the restaurant itself. Good 'family owned small business' vibe here - and I love that, both for the meal and for my town (which really needs good food and new businesses). Definitely worth the visit, and will definitely be coming back again in the next few days!
*Note: I read some of the other reviews, and can't help but notice any lower reviews were all about things that could change from order to order; nothing actually that would apply to anyone else necessarily - and none of that stuff went wrong...
Read moreI normally don’t do this but I’m so disappointed I have to. I used to love Yummys up until tonight. I go there at least once a week and my order is always right and service always good. Today when I got home I noticed my order was wrong. I simply called up there to let management know and to get my order replaced until I was told that because so many people call and lie about there order they cannot replace my food. I lmwas expected to bring the food back tonight or not get a refund at all. I’ve never heard of a policy like this especially when the manager is the one who took my order and they still got it wrong.
