I’ve been looking for a new Chinese place and thought I would give this one a try. The egg drop soup looked delicious. It was piping hot and I couldn’t even eat it right away. When I finally took a spoonful, it was way over-salted. I dropped a couple fried wontons into the container, to see if that would help. That’s when I discovered that the fried wontons have a sugar coating on them. That clinched the fact that I’m not eating the soup. The egg roll was pretty good. I opened up the combination dinner. It was a huge portion of steaming hot fried rice and a decent helping of chicken lo mein. Unfortunately the chicken lo mein was coated in a very sweet hoisen sauce, thick and super sweet. This is not really the typical lo mein kind of sauce that I was expecting. The dish was mostly noodles, chicken and sauce. There were three snow pods in the meal and two matchstick carrots. Read moreThis is the most consistently delicious Chinese restaurant in metro Detroit. They simply don't miss, with ample portion sizes that taste amazing every time. Their ABC is God-tier with yellow gravy and not that brown goo other places offer, their General Tso's chicken and especially the sauce have complexity of flavor compared to many of their competitors in the Chinese food space, and the beef broccoli has a perfect ratio of protein to vegetables. Their catering trays are a great price as well, I no longer live nearby but I make the trip here as often as I can because this is a restaurant worth supporting. Thanks for setting and maintaining a high standard, China...
Read moreIt had been a while since we got take out from here but it did not disappoint last time. We ordered on line and was only a couple minutes waiting in line when I got there around lunch time. We had a big order for work and it was all correct. I like the sweet and sour chicken from here. The sauce is better than most places and the rice and egg rolls are terrific. I would try this place over your regular go to Chinese place. You won't be disappointed. We have a couple around us but when we have the craving this place hits the spot. Others had different dishes and they were plentiful and delicious. Don't be afraid to try anything on the menu here it...
