Hilltop bar — Restaurant in Shelby Charter Township

Went to my uncle Mike’s 70th birthday party here. Everything has been renovated ( idk what it looked like before) but everything was very nice, new and clean ! They are currently waiting on their new appliances to arrive that are stuck on a ship somewhere 🤦‍♀️😂 So eat before coming until those come in ! Since I was there for a birthday party though, they let you bring in a spread of your own food ! I haven't been in this bar in years,,,the women's lav door wouldn't lock, told the bartender about it, and he proceeded to say it does...then I asked him if the bar was up for sale! ? He then told me I don't have enough money to buy this place,,,he was rude and very abrupt with me, asked if he was Albanian, and kept saying he was American over and over....I will NEVER enter this establishment​ again!!! Was skeptical after our first visit here on a Saturday night. The atmosphere didn’t match the look of the bar. Luckily gave it a second chance and happened to stumble upon the bartender Lisa working on a Thursday night.. she is AMAZING. So welcoming and warm! Made us feel right at home almost like you’re hanging out in your basement. Very personable, attentive and sweet. We will definitely be back...
