Pha's Pepper Thai — Restaurant in Shelby Charter Township

Typically when I order from this restaurant everything is excellent. Today I ordered and when I got it in my truck, I realized it didn’t smell as good and loud as it normally does. I blew it off and went hm to eat it. When I tasted it, it was bland as if they forgot to put any spice on it. I asked for mild. Typically mild is almost too hot for me to eat! There was absolutely NO heat on my food. I called the restaurant to express my concern and they told me they have a different batch of peppers so maybe that is why. But as I’m looking through my food, I see ZERO traces of peppers. Usually I can physically see pieces in there. Not once did they offer me to come in and get it corrected. (I live 20 mins away or I would have just went back) This place is too pricey to not get what I ordered. I will not be back. My advice to anyone is to taste your food before leaving...

I may have committed 2 of the cardinal sins when ordering takeout: first I asked if I had the right number for a competitor's location (oops), second I asked for a change to their menu item.

Long time fan of curry noodles and I placed my first order with Pha's Pepper for the classic dish, but requested heavy sauce. I like coconut curry so much that I request it heavy like a soup and usually on fire. I instead received the opposite and perhaps a challenge to make the noodles as dry as possible. I think the lemon squeeze generated more overall liquid than the curry sauce.

The flavor seemed to be tasty for what little I had, but I'm not sure I'll be returning for any take out orders.

I have gotten food from here before and it was amazing, today however I ordered a favorite of mine (Tom yum soup) and there was an awful aftertaste. Normally they do well but today it was just not great. So I called because I ordered two large soups assuming I would get the same stuff I have previously - but it wasn’t. My disappointment is the fact that when i reach out to notify them I was basically told “it’s not our problem”. I am disappointed I have to solve the problem myself by just not returning to the facility. The young women who took my call was very sweet even after being told by her supervisor that they weren’t going to assist me. So I guess...
