Tubby's Sub Shop — Restaurant in Shelby Charter Township

So just got subs for me and my family walk in place the order a very simple order two large subs one a Philly cheese steak with NO ONION and the next a chicken fajita with only meat cheese fajita sauce and green pepper very simple right mind you the owner and cook lady were arguing over what comes on the subs about MY subs anyways.. get home and both subs are LOADED with ONIONS the chicken fajita doesn’t even come with onions so like what the hell… anyways I call up there and let the cook know she messed up BOTH subs and got offered to bring the incorrect food back for new food mind you it’s dinner we are hungry after working HARD jobs all day mind you I have little kids can’t just up and leave again over there mistakes also I spent around $35 for the food.. she also offered 10% off next time I come in which is pathetic considering the food is already over priced and not even made right… anyways I would avoid this Tubby’s...

I just paid $108 for the crowd pleaser platter and a party salad. When I got the order I realized they had only given me famous and ham and Swiss subs even though the crowd pleaser tray is supposed to have ham and Swiss, turkey, turkey club and famous. When I called the store to let them know my order was wrong he said that was how the order was written and he couldn’t do anything about it. When I asked to speak to the manager he said he was the owner so I said as the owner you should do something to fix it and he bluntly told me he wasn’t going to remedy the situation. Thats the last time I will ever get anything from that store. $108 is a lot of money to spend and not have your order be right. I WILL BE TAKIMG MY MONEY ELSEWHERE. THEY WILL NOT ADDRESS ANY ERRORS

Tubby’s always has good food. The service was above and beyond though. I had a large party order and showed up early for pick up. The Tubby’s team accommodated me, even though I was early, and were very cognizant of my event (food going to multiple locations). They packed all my food to make it easier for me to deliver to all my locations. It wasn’t something they had to do, but it was so appreciated. I’ll certainly go back again, personally, but also use them for future corporate events because they were so helpful and caring.
