Absolutely appalled by the service my husband and I received tonight.
Who ever answered the phone tonight 2/26 around 8pm needs to be RE-TRAINED A S A P!!!!
We ordered a chili cheese dog with TOTS WITH CHEESE on the side. We get it. That can easily be miscommunicated. (The same thing actually happened the day before but we decided to NOT call and just come back tonight and try again with out even complaining- so nice, right?!). So we received a chili cheese tater tot and came back to have it corrected to TOTS WITH CHEESE. So as we wait, our chili cheese dog is losing its freshness. We can accept that because we are about to receive fresh delicious TOTS WITH CHEESE. We get the bag, head home, lo and behold it’s NOT correct again now we have an unwanted hotdog with cheese and our cold chili cheese dog! So, since we have groceries and a life to live and don’t want to spend 15 MORE minutes at sonic, we figured we could call now and tomorrow we will be able to have our meal corrected, because 2 nights in a row? What are the odds of that?! So the whole problem was solved on our end, we will just return tomorrow and they will remake the meal and have satisfied customers……But then the gatekeeper of fresh hotdogs answers the phone (some chick with poor customer service) and lets us know that even though they ruined the meal we purchased we are only entitled to TOTS WITH CHEESE. So we say do you want the cold hotdog back?! Of course her reply along the lines of ’there’s nothing I can do’ and she made the situation even more frustrating.
It’s a hotdog that lost its freshness due to EMPLOYEE MISTAKES/INCOMPETENCE. Both hotdogs were totally inedible and were thrown away, because #1 a cheese dog is not what we ordered #2 the quality and freshness of the chili cheese hotdog was ruined.
Would remaking a meal affect you? Ensuring that a customer isn’t left frustrated and unhappy? It seems like she took it personally that we expected a fully remade meal or refund. That fresh hotdog must come directly out of her paycheck….. otherwise it makes no sense and you all should reevaluate what customer service...

First the girl that took the order did not listen to what I said and almost put me down for three number 15 meals. After I corrected her on that and said no! I said three number 16 meals is what I said She said oh I'm sorry. I thought we had it right till I got the bag of food and was charged $33 and some change for drinks one burrito and three breakfast toasters. I told the girl who brought me the order that I was supposed to have tots with my meal. And that I ordered the whole meal!! That is what it means when some orders by saying I want the number 16! Not just a sandwich! They wanted to charge me for the tats! It was the girl who took the orders mistake I don't see why I would have to pay 40 to $45 for it all. They do not take the time to listen to what you're trying to order and they throw whatever in the bag then they want to charge you for the correct order that should have been brought to you in the first place. I'm very disappointed in this Sonic It seems to be an ongoing problem every time I go! Moral of the story pay attention and listen to the customer and what they want!! Read moreI've been to this location a lot. They are normally pretty good. This last time was different. Order a large popcorn chicken with barbecue sauce and got a bowl with a handful of popcorn chicken covered with sauce. Asked for a manager and she started to argue with us saying that was what we ordered. After we told her it wasn't she grabbed the bowl and mumbled something under her and stormed inside. We never saw her again and we never got the difference in cost. I've worked in the restaurant industry in various positions and have never even thought about treating a customer like this. Should have refunded the original chicken, given the chicken that was ordered and offered desert. Takes no time and gets the five stars the bosses want to see.
