I am usually a huge fan of waffle house and the friendly experiences I have had in the past but today changed all of that. I called in to place a to go order and the music was so loud that I could hardly hear the waitress so I asked her to turn it down so I could order. She just kept right on talking, and I just said my order hoping that she was hearing me. I got to the restaurant and my order was bring made by a man singing the music to the top of his lungs, as if he knew I had asked for the music to be turned down , and since I was the only person in the restaurant, it was obvious. He continued to sing while the other staff looked and laughed ,waiting for a reaction from me. Then after they were done bagging my food the cook turned off the music that he had been controlling and turned and laughed. The whole wait staff watched and grinned as I left. I cannot tell you how rude it was. FOR WHAT!! All I did was ask for the music to be turned down so I could hear the waitress. I will never go back to this waffle...
Read moreOrdered 2med. rare sirloin steaks, triple hashbrowns with jalapenos, & triple scrambled eggs with cheese 2go. 5mins later I was out the door. As always received gr8 service & food tasted excellent. I watch the short female cook each time & she's a pro on that grill. I'd never hesitate 2eat food she cooked. She is clean & always changes her gloves when handling different food &pays attention 2detail & doesn't leave any burnt/unappealing food on plate. She is fast &able 2cook several different orders @ a time without burning, over/undercooking any of it. She deserves a tip each & everytime I go here. Also when I walked in 2day she/grill cook was washing walls high/low, 1waitress was mopping, 2waitress were finishing squeecheeing windows with zero streaks/smears & crystal clear. Highly recommend/satisfied with this Waffle House because it's definitly the cleanest, friendliest/quickest service, & the best...
Read moreI frequent this establishment very often with my daughter and we always get the same thing, Double order of hash browns with a piece of toast. Well ever since this new girl has started working she always over charges. A double order of hash browns X2 is normally around $9.60 or so (a double is $4.00). Today I paid over $15.00 for that exact order. Which means I paid at least $6.00 for a piece of toast and tax. I understand the To-go order fee and I always tip but she was originally going to charge me $19 something until I said something. Money is hard to come by and if you don’t know the prices of the establishment of where you work then you need more training or you need to pay more attention. I will not be back as long as she is working. Not to mention this place is never clean when you come and the menus are...
