Pagliaro's Lunch — Restaurant in Shelton

We tried this place on Sunday for breakfast and it was terrific! We always like to try a local small business and found this place to be among the best breakfast in Shelton. Everything is made to order. Hot and fresh. I ordered the cheese omelet. It came with homefries and toast. I like to try this first because I find it a good judge of how greasy the other dishes would be. It was great! Not greasy. The home fries were like my grandmother made them. Hot and not over powered by onion. Much better than you would get at say Duchess. My fiancee got the meat lovers omelet. It was delicious. Had all the breakfast meats in it. We took home 2 orders of french toast with bacon. Sweet and well cooked. Much better than most. Not burnt or soggy. This place is a small gem in Huntington. Please do not overlook. You can also call in an order and it is ready when you arrive to pick it up. We will be back to try lunch!...

First time "accidental" visitor today. I was hungry and looked for the closest place on my way from point A to point B. Very unassuming place. The staff could not be nicer and the food was delish! I asked for my corned beef hash (homemade) well done and it wasn't cooked quite enough for my taste. I apologetically asked if they could cook it some more. I said give me another pasta they had no pasta at all then they told me that substitutes take another hour for delivery I ordered it on GrubHub I said forget it ordered from another restaurant and it was cheaper I will never order from this...
