Such a relaxed atmosphere, I love it. I've been a few times now for the Wednesday night trivia, and it's been a lot of fun. I don't love super loud, crowded places, I find them overwhelming and unpleasant. Square Peg, at least during the times I've been, is not that. While I certainly hope they get plenty of business and are able to thrive, I appreciate and enjoy the chill vibe. The trivia is run by a separate company I believe, but it's lots of fun and a great excuse to eat and drink out on a Wednesday night. Most of the pizzas contain meat, but being a vegetarian I asked for that to be kept off. No mistakes were made and nothing had to be sent back and remade as vegetarian. Greatly appreciated. Aside from the atmosphere, the food is great, and the pizza flight (three small pizzas from a large provided selection for $35) is a solid deal that saves money when out with a group. Really pleased with the offerings on the menu, and particularly enjoy the brussel sprouts and the spicy margherita. I never thought of making a margherita pizza spicy, and now I'm hooked. Oh, and the peanut butter pie! Delicious. Would...
Read moreSquare Peg Pizza is one of those rare places that gets everything right. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome—super friendly, attentive, and happy to make recommendations if you’re stuck deciding (which is easy to do with a menu like this!).
The food is phenomenal. The wings are perfectly crispy with just the right amount of heat and flavor—definitely a must-order. And the pizza? Next-level. Creative toppings, crispy crust, and fresh ingredients in every bite. You can tell the kitchen takes real pride in what they serve.
And let’s talk about the happy hour. Whether you're stopping in during the day or looking for a late-night weekend hangout, their happy hour is unbeatable. Great deals on drinks and bites that make it the perfect spot to start—or end—the night.
Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top-tier pizza, a chill vibe, and a staff that actually seems to care. Can’t wait...
Read moreOK, so I’ve been looking forward to this place opening for a while. My wife and son and I tried it the other night. I thought the pizza was very good however, I think they need to realize where they are, which is Preston, Connecticut not Mystic, Connecticut and lower their prices. I got a chicken Parm grinder takeout for my son the next night. It was one size which was small and it was $18. now I could go to Vocaturas in Norwich and get a very good chicken Parm grinder for about eight bucks. I think they’re gonna price themselves into lack of business people are trying it and that’s why it’s so busy. Now, they have the potential here to do very well, but they’re not going to when your average family of four is going in there and spending easily $100. Again it’s just pizza, not Caviar...
