Since I don't see where to respond to the owner I will type a whole review here. We came in for my birthday and my step daughters birthday. We made a reservation in advance because it was fight night. But no one knew anything about the reservation and we were initially place by the bar which was a very uncomfortable spot crowded and noisy. So we asked to be moved. The young man who initially took care of us was awesome. He told us we could go play games and come back no problem. It was my first time at Dave and Busters so I had no idea how expensive the food was. So we just ordered an appetizer tray and bought some game cards. The game card prices were standard and the games were fun. The food was good but not worth the pricing, it was incredibly overpriced. Also, I was under the impression that Dave and Busters was for adults, which is why we choose you all, but I found that not to be so, but I guess that's on me. Our server had to go but he said it was no problem we could keep our table as we had been going back and forth to the table and games. When we came back to the table the server had a little note on the table saying the table was in use, but all out drinks had been cleared off. We were still planning to watch the game and order more drinks, but no one came by. We waited and waited and no one came by. When my stepdaughter got up to ask what appeared to be a manager if we could get more drinks she was rude to her and told her that she should have server. Well, if she had a server she wouldn't be asking for one. So upon hearing this interaction, I got up and headed over to her to which she quickly apologized and told me that she was sending someone stating that she thought that we were with a party right in front of the TVs. Still no reason to be rude to my stepdaughter either way. The score I gave you was generous because I honestly hate giving bad ratings. I can't downgrade the food as it was good. The atmosphere wasn't what I expected but it wasn't bad we just avoided places with kids where we could have paid less because we thought it was supposed to be an adult place. And our original server was great it was just the confusion after he had to go and the response when we asked for another one that led to the 4 star. I hope this helps you understand why I didn't give a perfect score. But my step daughter and I were sharing our birthday as hers is two days before mine and we expected to have a special, fun evening. All although overall is was good and we did win monkeys it had...

Corporate of D&B Please Read:

Had a great experience before, decided to come back. Sadly, our recent visit fell far short of our expectations.

Firstly, the bartender, Tania, was unwelcoming and seemed uninterested in providing good service. We sat at the bar almost ten minutes before she half-heartedly greeted us. Then the second girl passed us three times and never said a word. We felt that neither of their behavior was befitting of a representative of your brand. However, given our experience with Nikki (Manager) we can see why they behaved as such. Will delve into that later in my complaint .

Secondly, there were significant issues with our drinks and food. Despite ordering according to the menu, the cocktails we received did not match the descriptions, and the food was cold. Furthermore, the portion size was small and came out on an oddly shaped piece of plastic with food falling off. This was another disappointing aspect of our experience, as we had chosen D&B based on the variety and quality of food/drinks.

Also, Nikki, your bar manager, was uneducated about the ingredients of the drinks prepared by bar staff. If what we received represented your offerings, there may be a misrepresentation of your products that could lead to customer dissatisfaction or even legal issues.

We were also concerned about the way Nikki handled a minor misunderstanding. Rather than diffusing the situation with calm professionalism, she raised her hand near our body and told us to calm down. This was an uncomfortable and unwarranted display of aggression. She publicly blamed our server for the bartender's inability to make the proper drinks as we ordered. Nikki then further criticized her subordinate in front of other employees and guests. That is highly unprofessional and shows her lack of management skills.

We believe that Nikki could benefit from additional customer service and conflict resolution training. We hope that you will take this feedback into consideration and provide her with the necessary guidance to improve her skills and attitude, especially considering there are several online complaints regarding her professionalism.

We had high hopes for D&B and looked forward to returning with friends and family. However, our firsthand experience has given us pause. We hope you will take our feedback seriously and work towards improving the quality of your service and the accuracy of your menu.

We hope you plan to address these issues because customer...

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Dave & Buster’s today and unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. We chose the party package that included a $25 power card, three slices of pizza per kid, and fries. Upon arrival, a manager immediately upsold us to the unlimited play card for an extra $5 per child. We wanted everyone to have a great time.

We set up all our own decorations, which was fine, but we were assigned a server who quite literally did the bare minimum just got drinks for the kids. He didn’t deliver food, coordinate anything, help with cake, or offer any assistance during the event. We’ve hosted parties at other places where the host was hands-on, helping cut the cake, pack up gifts, and make sure the kids had a great time. That level of service was completely missing here. Maybe this isn’t D&B standards. He did wait on the parents of the children at the party but those were separate bills with separate tips.

The pizza was also disappointing. Instead of actual slices, we got small square pieces definitely not the portion we expected. As for the unlimited games, only a handful were truly unlimited play. The rest required points or didn’t function with the cards.

What really left a bad taste was the automatic gratuity. We were charged an additional $80 in gratuity, which included the entire bill even the play cards. For a server who barely did anything, this felt completely unjustified. I’m sure this was included in the paperwork, but there is a certain level of service I would expect if I am paying your employees wages.

Overall, this was a subpar party with subpar service, and I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone expecting a well-organized, engaging birthday experience for their child.

Update 6/17 - I have tried reaching out to the company at the number the put in the reply, I have left several messages and no returned call. Perhaps this is just a way to look like they are publicly...

The whole atmosphere is awesome. Great place to go habg out and have fun. This is a place for all ages. They have a bar section. They have regular tables for families and friends. They have a separate sports section with many screens of different sizes, all showing a different game. There's plenty of seating in the sports section. Besides the seating sections, there's the gaming area. This is probably the best part of it all. There's games for everyone from 3 years old and up to grown folks. They charge cards that you purchase to play these games are kind of expensive. We paid something like $70 for 2 cards, totaling around 400 points. Each game is between 4 and 12 points each, depending on the game, obviously. For every game you play you win credits. You accumulate credits and then exchange the credits for a gift in the store at the back. It's not cheap, childish gifts either. There's a lot of nice things that even grown ups would definitely like and use. We accumulated approximately 1600 credits and my son was able to exchange those for a gaming keyboard that lights up. We checked the retail value of the keyboard and it was going for somewhere between $20 and $30, depending where purchased. That's not bad at all for spending $70 to $80 on points and being able to play and have fun with family. You make wonderful memories and also get to take home something nice. The four stars comes from their food quality not being the best. But it's the same quality you would find at other establishments that execute similar business models. So, it's not terrible food by far, just wish it could be a little better.

First of all, my first hour here was terrible. I walked in asking about the $20 unlimited wings and games special and only 1 of 3 guest services people had any idea what I was talking about and even they hardly knew any details about it. I proceeded to have very subpar service from our waitress. She did not know her menu knowledge whatsoever and definitely did not know any prices for drinks. After we finished up there the games were fun and we went to the bar to order some drinks, I asked about a few shots and the bartender did not know much so she asked another a d he rudely shouted, "Does it look like we have any cordials here"? We ended up just ordering chilled vodka shots which were not chilled and went back to the games. When late night happy hour came we went to the other side of the bar and had amazing service from A'ja! She is the only reason this review is not 1 star. Very kind and knowledgeable, she helped us figure out what we wanted to drink/eat and made everything amazing. For my first experience with the brand, it was a dismal time. I will only be coming back to be served by her.
