This place is absolutely worth stopping for We pulled over at random and the ice cream was fantastic. Since we were in a group, I got to taste a bunch of different flavors, everyone insisted that theirs was the best. The lemon ice cream was transcendent. 15 hands was a crowd favorite and Appaloosa (molasses cream with fudge pieces and white chocolate also was popular. I loved the coffee ice cream which had a coffee bitterness and richness that’s rare. Point is, you really can’t go wrong here.

We’re from Oregon traveling thru WY. We love Ice cream! We stopped and had a hand dipped, hand made waffle cone Full of hand made, 15 hands flavored ice cream!! This is the BEST ice cream we’ve ever had! (Sorry Tillamook) so creamy and full of flavor! The cone held up for 30 minutes!! The owner is super nice, friendly and great to talk to! Not only did we have the best ice cream, but great company and conversation! We will be back! The DD’s

Mr Mitchell makes great ice cream and the customer service is top notch. I had the chocolate and cookies and cream. The cookies and cream was some of the best I’ve ever had. The prickly pear and huckleberry was like nothing we’ve ever had and it was fantastic. The 15 hand is Pralines N Cream on Steroids. Get off the freeway and make the stop. We’ll be back for sure. (And the mustache…my husband dreams of having a stache that cool)

Found this out of the way shop that we decided to try instead of the usual Dairy Queen while visiting Sheridan and it's definitely worth it!! Super friendly customer service, a good variety of interesting flavors, and fair price for premium ice cream. He was awesome enough to provide us with a cooler so we could take extra pints home (as we live out of town)! I definitely recommend the Burnin' Daylight (cinnamon), the Pecos Pete Prickly Pear Huckleberry, and 15 Hands. Also got the Prairie Peach, City Slicker and Blueberry Hill to take home, and I can't wait to try them! We will definitely be back, and may even have to make a special...

Super Great ice cream & I got two pints Chocolate & Rocky Road. Also ordered a Hamburger & Fries and they were also Great & Old Fashioned. I look forward to trying the rest of the Menu. There is no inside dinning room. Plenty of shaded picnic tables outside or take it to the car like a Drive-in. Their ice cream has no air fluff to it. It is Real - Premium thick ice cream.
